If you had the #2 pick in a dynasty rookie draft and had an option to draft any of the following players, or could trade out AND GET VALUE, what would you do? Please feel free to justify your answer.

Tough decision.

Really it depends on your roster.

I too have the #2 pick in a keeper league and was wondering the same thing.

Right now I think Addai has the easiest road to get playing time right away.

I think Deangelo has the most talent and a fragile runner in front of him.

But with the Pats & Bb and Parcells both wanting Maroney makes me think he's gonna be solid, although you might have to wait the longest for him to produce.

For long term I'd rank 'em:

DeAngelo

Addai

Maroney

LenDale

I saw that one, but I'm trying to gauge if it's better to trade the pick for fair value or draft a player that you might have ranked higher. If you can get a future first or a late first or early second or a player that provides depth to move down a few spots, it would be worth it. That's what I'm trying to figure out...

Hate to be a PITA, but it really depends on the value you get.

It wouldn't take much for me to trade down from 2 to 3, but it would take a fair amount to trade down to 4 or 5. A late 1st gets it done, a 2nd probably wouldn't.

I don't see much difference between Maroney, Williams, Addai, and White, so I would say that if you can drop from 1.2 to 1.5 or better and get something in return, go for it. The thing is, since there's not much difference I don't think many teams sitting in those spots would be willing to move up.

As far as taking a player there, Maroney is my favorite after Bush. I know Deangelo has been getting a lot of praise here, but it sounds like they were both viewed pretty equally by the "experts." So I give Maroney the edge since the Patriots, who have good personnel people, took him and his competition is the oldest of all these backs.
