Seems to be a lot of bad to mediocre QB combinations in the league right now.

fair enough. I made the assumption, but you are correct that technically he is still the starter, but...Was the news of Marc Bulger cut not reported anywhere? I know he's likely to be released, but as of now, he's still a starter for St. Louis. Not sure it changes how bad the situation is, but still.....
Western NY?I did forget them, but sadly they likely are better than at least half the teams on this list.ETA: That I actually think Kyle Orton is a decent QB, but many do not.where is buffalo?
I'd rather have Player X than several of these guysI think Carolina should be in the running...Matt Moore and Player X...
I liked him better when he was Player Jones, before he got wrapped up in all that Nation of Islam foolishness.ScottNorwood said:I'd rather have Player X than several of these guysSweet Love said:I think Carolina should be in the running...Matt Moore and Player X...
Today, Player X is Hunter Cantwell, and to that I would say you are out of your mind.ScottNorwood said:I'd rather have Player X than several of these guysSweet Love said:I think Carolina should be in the running...Matt Moore and Player X...
Oh. I thought Player X was someone like QB Eagles from tecmo bowlToday, Player X is Hunter Cantwell, and to that I would say you are out of your mind.ScottNorwood said:I'd rather have Player X than several of these guysSweet Love said:I think Carolina should be in the running...Matt Moore and Player X...

I entered the thread thinking the exact same thing. We ain't talking about the Christian Okoye of RBs here....BTW, my deepest condolences for the passing of Bonner.Oh. Leinart/Anderson (Arizona) Campbell/Grossman (Washington) Hasselbeck/Teal (Seattle) Orton/Quinn (Denver) Smith/Carr (San Fran) I'd take all these over BUFDr. Octopus said:Western NY?I did forget them, but sadly they likely are better than at least half the teams on this list.ETA: That I actually think Kyle Orton is a decent QB, but many do not.theglorydays said:where is buffalo?
I came on here to vote for Buffalo.ScottNorwood said:Edwards/Fitz belongs on the list
I disagree there is no way Buffalo is better then any duo on this list aside from maybe the Rams, Cards and Browns but I think Buffalo is the worse duo in the league. Then you add in a coach like Gailey and they are in real trouble not that the Browns coaching is any better.Dr. Octopus said:Western NY?I did forget them, but sadly they likely are better than at least half the teams on this list.ETA: That I actually think Kyle Orton is a decent QB, but many do not.theglorydays said:where is buffalo?
x2...but wow man, all I can say is wow.offdee said:I don't think there's any question the Rams situation is by far the worst at the present moment.

Give it a year and it will be David Garrard/Tim Tebow... or Tim Tibow/Luke McCown.Give it another year and we'll add David Garrard/Luke McCown to the list.

... but that's not important right now.Dr. Octopus said:Western NY?theglorydays said:where is buffalo?

me too.i still think aj feeley can be serviceable. that's more than either buffalo QB showed last year and like someone said, marc bulger has not been cut yet.I came on here to vote for Buffalo.ScottNorwood said:Edwards/Fitz belongs on the list
Feely has yet to do anything remotely sucessful in this league.. As bad as Delhomme was last year he did great things in CAR over his carreer. Russell is a lost cause..How did Feely get so many votes, regardless of his backup? He's better then at least two starters (Delhomme/Russell) on this list, and a decent argument could be made by some to a couple more (Leinart/Campbell).
I think a lot of people just remember his time as a starter with Miami but as an Eagles back up I was very happy with him and he performed very well when they needed him to start. In the WCO he can be very productive and I would take him over guys like Delhomme, Gradkowski, Edwards and Anderson any day.How did Feely get so many votes, regardless of his backup? I actually think Trent Edwards could be decent behind a suitable o-line. He wasn't all that bad prior to last season - in fact one major publication (Sporting Newsw?) was supporting him for leagu MVP over the first 5-6 games in 2008.me too.i still think aj feeley can be serviceable. that's more than either buffalo QB showed last year and like someone said, marc bulger has not been cut yet.I came on here to vote for Buffalo.ScottNorwood said:Edwards/Fitz belongs on the list
You're mistaken. While they may not seem intimidating I promise you that Henne looked alright when you factor in many things last year like a lack of WR/TE, RB1 out for the 2nd half of the season.Lots of teams would be really happy with Henne/Penny right now, and Thigpen to boot at the #3...all these guys have NFL starting experience now and they have all had stretches of success. Thigpen should be the guy running the wildcat but we'll see if they give him the chance or not. While certainly not worse than some of the other combos on this list, I don't think that Miami's lineup of Henne/Thigpen/White/injured Pennigton is scaring anyone.....
If Moore gets added, then they have to add Garrard and whatever is behind him. They win if they draft Tebow.I think Carolina should be in the running...Matt Moore and Player X...
i think that was just a matter of defenses adjusting to edwards. a lot of players play well in a short stretch. i think he's an ineffective starter the rest of his life.Dr. Octopus said:I actually think Trent Edwards could be decent behind a suitable o-line. Exactly. Feely HAS ALREADY SHOWN he can be productive in the right situation. Russel, OTOH....will never be a productive NFL QB. Feely would have to rank in the bottom 10 of NFL starters, but not the worst....not by a long shot.
