What's up with the anti-Semitism? (1 Viewer)

So there's been a few prominent entertainers/athletes who have shown their anti-Semitism on social media in recent days......only to back-track when there's big blow back.  Seems to me these people are testing the water to see if their racist conspiracy theories will gain more widespread acceptance.  I mean, you don't just spout off straight up anti-Semitic rhetoric and then take it back, and everything is cool.

I apologize if there's already a post on this, but I did not see it.

I think a lot of these people think they're untouchable at the moment due to the color of their skin and what's currently going on in the country.  Nick Cannon found that out the hard way.  If the media wants to play the "cancel culture" game, then it needs to be a level playing field.  Good to see at least ONE company gets it.

Turns out that a lot of these guys who are against racism have no issues with being anti-semites or outright racist against white people.  Especially in an industry where the virtue signalling is off the charts for every issue no matter how small or large.  Behind the scenes there is a much different story, just like the whole MeToo movement.

I work in a diverse company.  My family itself is diverse.

The more I am around others the more I think the great melting pot is a fantasy.

Same. I married into a very diverse family and it would take a short novel to go through who won't speak to who and why. Most of the reasons are race related, a few are money related and 1 is religion related.

My wife`s family are all Hispanic..they for the most part are openly racist.  When the protests were going on they were saying "They should just shoot them all" At work the black people don`t associate much with non-blacks. The Asians stick to their own group.  The whites try to intermingle but it is all cosmetic.  Of course there are some exceptions but not much.

I posted something like this quite a while ago but I guess I asked a dumber question.

WHY does antisemitism go back so far in history??

I mean, my god....these people were blamed for the black plague!!

What happened, WAY BACK WHEN, to make some "hate" these people so much?

Jeez...to me, it's like an avocado....If you like them...cool....if you don't....why be so vocal about it??
You may not like their taste...fine....don't eat 'em. But man, the hate for this "religion"??? is off the charts, sometimes.

When did this all start...and WHY??

My husband's cousin married an African American women and his parents are both pretty open about being racist.  The first 2ish years they all made nice and dealt with each other,  but since then it has been like an episode of Jerry Springer when they do talk. About 18 months ago they moved and refused to tell anyone their new address because they don't want his parents to know where they live.

Not surprising. A black guy I went to school with was dating a white girl but never told his mom or sisters she was white.   Flew to California for Christmas to spend time with his family, and was excited for his family to meet his girlfriend. There were supposed to stay 5 days..they left after a day and a half. Said is was so uncomfortable they had to leave.   They have not spoken since.

Generally speaking, and this is a high level of generalization, jews throught out history are thought of as being rich and representing the big money that stopped so many poorer people from progressing.  People look for an outside source to their problems, and blaming them was easily done.

We may have a new wave given the class rhetoric in today's political and economic dialogue as well.

Lots of good books on this subject.

Kkk hates jewish and not caucasian.

Some Black people hate jewish people

It's like some weird venn diagram

it does seem like kind of a growing thing from the Hotep subculture - I've heard more podcasts and seen more chatter about it lately. I saw Andrew Schulz debated Tariq Nasheed on his podcast a while back and that was pretty wild to hear what he was saying (whether he actually believes it or not).

I think a lot of people who generally aren't very deep thinkers, like athletes and entertainers, are getting exposed to Hotep stuff through the internet as a consequence of the increased focus on identity politics and rejection of "European history and thinking" from the woke movement, and it has the unintended consequence of that philosophy appealing more to them instead of actual woke thinking.
