It says to "rate the topic", so since I wondering myself what the stars were about I think I should give it maybe "5 stars" although I could imagine topics I could be more interested in so I should leave myself some room for improvement (I'd hate for example, to have "What's with the stars?" with the same rating as "Calvin Johnson traded!") so maybe just "4 stars".

Now that I think of it, the initial post in the topic was not very thought provoking, although a slightly clever joke so maybe balance that out at "3 stars".

Perhaps I should take into account the following posts (including my crappy post) so maybe down to "2 stars".

Now that I think about it some more, maybe I just won't rate any posts until a week or so after they are started so I can rate with clarity and without my judgment being clouded by monetary emotion.

This whole system calls into question weather I should rate you personally (who currently has a rating of "2 stars") based on an average of what your threads rate or perhaps you can argue the sum could be greater then the parts.

I noticed them today myself. They just started esploding all over like Stong Bad on speeling errers.Anyone who follows FF closely in the offseason should get at least a bonus star. No?

Doing my extra credit for fun now. Got a new notebook and pencil to start putting my thoughts together looking for gems.
