this draft was horrible but made worse by what we could have gotten out of our first draft:1 1 David Carr QB Fresno State (should have picked Peppers I just knew we would have with Capers here)

2 33 Jabar Gaffney WR Florida (decent pick but I thought we should have picked Portis or Foster)

2 50 Chester Pitts G San Diego State (we passed Portis not once but twice)

3 66 Fred Weary G Tennessee (nothing else was there)

3 83 Charles Hill NT Maryland (I'll admit when I'm wrong but I wanted Crouch here)

4 99 Jonathan Wells RB Ohio State (Randy McMicheal was the most athletic Te in the draft and he was still there)

5 136 Jarrod Baxter FB New Mexico (nothing really here but I thought they should have drafted Adriann Peterson RB Georgia Southern)

5 153 Ramon Walker SS Pittsburgh I actually liked this pick decent special teams guy)

6 173 Demarcus Faggins CB Kansas State Adrian Peterson

6 190 Howard Green DT Louisiana State (again Adrian Peterson was still there. guess you could see i really liked this guy) i thought him and Portis/Foster wold have been a great backfield

7 229 Greg White DE Minnesota Rock Cartwright was a personal friend of mine from Conroe and I just knew the Texans would take him. Guess Baxter made them overlook him.

7 261 Ahmad Miller DT Nevada-Las Vegas Kevin Shaffer I got family in Tulsa and they told me about this guy.

probably not the best draft but atleast we would have had some playable players that would still be on the team. No one from that draft other than Carr was there last year. Now hes not even here. :gross:

Faggins is still on the team and is a good nickelback (especially for being a 6th rounder.) Unfortunately he was pressed into service as a corner last year due to Buchanon being terrible and no one else to play the position. He struggled and was clearly overmatched at times, hopefully we draft a corner and move him back to nickel and dime packages.

youre right I forgot about Peetey and yeah Lee Evans made him look like he didn't even belong on a team. :X
