I'm trying to remember when ESPN first acquired Scouts, Inc...
IIRC, Scouts Inc used to be called "The War Room", and was headed by Gary Horton. I believe they were licensing their content to The Sporting News throughout the late 90s, but then ESPN purchased them and renamed them "Scouts Inc" to supplement their ESPN Insider content.
Does anyone have an recollection, or better yet, a link of when this happened?
