When do we start to see teams spying with drones (1 Viewer)

As I see drones becoming more an more common, how long until we see the first team busted for using a drone to spy on practice prior to a big game. The easy answer is New England but I suspect they will be on their p's and q's during the playoffs. I just know it's going to happen as the drones are becoming more suffocated and able to fly higher, longer with zoom HD. May be already happening but I wonder what could be done really. How do you stop a team from flying a drone say in some open parking lot next to the team facility but far enough away that it's not really noticed.

We'll find out when a team accidentally fires a missile at the team instead of hitting the record button on the camera.

As soon as some owner wants to risk getting banned for life, same with the entire coaching staff and if any players knew they'd face the same ban, and probably would face a hellish existence afterwards in any contact with the public.

I doubt drones. More than likely there are several people in Pats stadium with cameras that record and upload simultaneously. Then there are techs that view all of the feeds for useful content.

didn't read one post on this thread, but my over/under for Patriots posts would be 75%....even though every other team

in the league was doing he exact same thing as the Pats were...carry on

I recall reading an article a few years ago that speculated that Andy Reid was using camera's attached to a blimp which would float over the NYG practice field and record their practices.

Or maybe it just said Reid was the blimp.

Can't recall now, it's been a few years ago.
