When is Donald Brown due back? (1 Viewer)

Rival GM dumped him into the waiver wire (gotta love those BYES!).

I read he may be gone for at least another two weeks. Any of it true?

He is expected back in week 10 or 11.
Not going to show a mad face holding a link sign, but do you have a link? I dropped him last week out of sheer frustration. He teases me all season, and I end up starting him on his worst statistcal day against the Titans a few weeks back. Won the game despite him. I am convinced that Addai is made of steel this year. But dropping Brown was probably overreacting, I admit.

It is too early to know if he'll be back this week. First clue will be participation in Wed's practice.

Wed, Nov 4Brown (shoulder) fully participated in practice on Wednesday, according to the Indianapolis Football Report.Recommendation: It's surprising that he wasn't limited by the shoulder injury after missing last week's game and not practicing all last week. It looks like he should return this week as a result.(Rotowire.com)

FWIW, I saw something similar. He practiced Wednesday and will play Sunday. He's not listed on the injury report.

the only source for all the two to three weeks talk stemmed from a single comment bill polian made after the injury, something along the lines that the colts would be fine at rb if brown misses one, two, or even three weeks.

everyone ran with that and said he'd miss two to three weeks.

glad to see he's back

kudos to owners that read the actual polian quote and traded for brown...

Thu, Nov 5Brown (shoulder) fully participated in Thursday's practice and came out of Wednesday's practice without any problems, according to the Indianapolis Football ReportRecommendation: It looks like Brown may not even appear on the injury report and should return to splitting playing time with Joseph Addai.(Rotowire.com)

I picked up Brown off WW a couple of days ago :moneybag: I never wish injury on anyone...but it wouldn't hurt my feelings if Addai sprained an ankle :lmao:

Donald Brown was added to the Colts' Week 9 injury report as "questionable" after missing Friday's practice.

Brown was a full participant on both Wednesday and Thursday. There's no way to tell if he had a setback, but he'll be a game-time decision against the Texans. Joseph Addai's Week 9 fantasy value is directly dependent on Brown's status. If Brown is inactive, Addai is a high-end RB2 play because he'll operate as an every-down back. If Brown plays, Addai is a mere flex option.

Just saw that. This sucks, but at least I don't need him this week.

Damn, I'm considering trading Hester for him in a PPR if he's healthy.

When's Polian's radio show? Tuesday? Wouldn't it be a pretty big deal if there was a setback?

 Addai may be too tired to play come fantasy playoff time.

"Beat writer Phillip B. Wilson expects Donald Brown (questionable, shoulder) to play on Sunday against the Texans.

Brown practiced on Wednesday and Thursday before being given Friday off. It's a rare piece of good news for the Colts this week after learning that they will be without Marlin Jackson and Bob Sanders for the rest of the season. Both Brown and Joseph Addai are unattractive fantasy options this week against the recently stout Texan rush defense. It's worth noting that Wilson isn't sure that Brown didn't have a setback. Be sure to check the inactives Sunday morning."
