When is it OKAY to hold a QB as a keeper? (1 Viewer)

I have read a lot about NOT holding a QB in a Traditional PPR league (1QB/2RB/3WR/1TE +1 Flex)
I get the strategy when you can only keep 2 or 3 players. But our 10 team league holds 5 guys (no round designation)

So the question - When is it ideal to hold top tier QBs within a keeper league? (Allen/Burrow/Hurts/Daniels)
Hold 3?
Hold 4?
Hold 5?

I don't think there is an "ideal" situation necessarily. Much of it is league dependent and by that I mean, does your league typically keep a lot of QB's in this format. For me it really depends on the QB options I will have if I don't keep a QB. There are a lot of serviceable QB options typically in one QB leagues so if I can still get a top 10-ish guy then I won't keep a QB if I have equal to better keepers available. However, If 10 QB's are going to be kept by others then I might as well join the group if it's a top 5 guy I will be keeping.

10 team league: At least 4 QBs will be held in my league. Allen, Jackson Hurts and Burrow.
PPR league (1QB/2RB/3WR/1TE +1 Flex)

Keep 5 no round designations:
J. Daniels, C. Brown, K Walker, A Kamara, L. McConkey, R. Rice, T. McLaurin, JAMO,

I likely keep Daniels, Brown, Ladd, Rice, Jamo.

McL scares me a bit with the holdout. Walker and Kamara are possible but I would rather have Daniels if those other QB's are being kept already.
