When is your trade deadline (and why) (1 Viewer)

Trying to set the rules up for the league I commish. In the past I have made the deadline the week after the last bye week.

This is a redraft league, where 6 of 12 make the playoffs (starting in week 14), so I'd like to keep everyone as active as possible.

just looking for other schools of thought.

The trading deadline is week 10 in both of my redraft leagues. We play a 14 week season.

Week 11, for obvious reasons. Not that it matters in our no-trading league.

I think you'll find most are around the same time ie roughly wk 9-11 or so.

Most of my leagues are dynasty leagues with tradeing deadline of week 11 or 12. One has no deadline but owners involved in a trade after week 12 starts must pay next years $250.00 fees. Trades are not approved until the money arrives from every team involved in the trade. .
