What is interesting is that only one of these teams has a winning record... Not a bad setup to make a run at 16-0

Assuming they get to 13-0 or so, do you think Dungy repeats what he did last year as far as resting his starters?

Not if he has a brain in his head. The team clearly lost momentum in the last few weeks of the season, and Colts fan should be hoping that they learned from that.

If Philadelphia is clicking I think they match up well with Indy. The road games look pretty easy though outside of Jacksonville. At worst they finish 14-2.

Philly...they have the ability to put up points and a secondary to make things difficult for the Indy passing game...

I'll take the classic trap game: on the road at Tennessee. Sandwiched between Dal and Philly followed by Jax and Cincy. Just throwing it out there ;)

Oh, edit to add: it's also a divisional opponent so anything can happen (first game was close), and Tennessee has figured out how to run recently.

Dallas and @Jax to me are the most likely losses. Dallas plays a 3-4 D and has offensive weaponry, and the game will be more important to Dallas than the Colts. Jax is always a tough game.

Peyton's played two games against the Eagles in his career, one with James Mungro as the starting tailback, and he torched them both times. Cincy looks like a basket case of a team right now. I don't see them losing the other 4 games on their schedule (Buff, Mia, @Hou, @Ten) unless they are sitting starters against Mia.

This shouldn't even be a question. You all know the answer is Miami. The Dolphins knock off the Bears and then they knock off the Colts to remain the only franchinse in history to go undefeated throughout the season.

As they stay unbeaten, the starters should start and play until the games are in control. And I doubt if Dungy will have a son die this season.

I just hope it's not at Jacksonville or at Dallas as I'll be on the road for those games!

My best guess...

Philly Thanksgiving Day weekend. Because I am selling my 2 seats to have a family meal. I've jinxed them.

 I voted Houston. They go 14-0 to clinch HFA and Dungy sits his players in week in Week 16 & 17. Fantasy owners across the land burn Dungy in effigy after he does not share this strategy and owners of Colts players all get crushed in their championship games. It'll be ugly around here.

I actually voted for Houston also. Houston isnt going anywhere this season and this game will be their superbowl. They'll be really up for this game while the Colts will think of it as an afterthought. You heard it hear....second.

I have to say the Philadelphia match will be their first loss. Westbrook will run on them all day with some Buckhalter in the mix. I think Philadelphia will be highly charged and will shut down Manning enough to allow Westbrook and McNabb to sneak in enough points to keep it even. Final score: 31-30.

am I out of luck if I think they'll go 16-0?

I don't think they'll lose a game.

They're in the same boat as last year, only this time they'll have learned not to let off the gas once they clinch homefield.

I would say that Dallas' 3-4 might be able to trip him up, but from watching last game, it seems as though he's finally figured that defense out.

I don't think Manning can be stopped anymore, and I think the Colts will have to be outshot in order to be defeated.

And the only team I think that can do that right now is the Chiefs, who they don't play.

Indy allows over 5 yds per carry as most of you know. Somehow NE got away from smashing the football last night...Madden eluded to it several times. When someone is ready to ram the ball down the Colts' throats and is willing to make Manning work for every yard he gets with all the underneath stuff...that's when the Colts will lose their first game. Any team can do it if they can run tha ball and have a good enough secondary to cover at least 1 of the dynamic duo 1 on 1.

Indy is not going far into the playoffs with that run defense...however if they lock up home filed again...maybe they don't los to an Irish Lucked Out Pittsburgh again and they can advance.

If San Diego gets ahold of them in the playoffs, Indy is done. San Diego wrote the blueprint on how to beat Indy...and San Diego has not 1 but 2 RB to attack that weak rush defense...and they have a guy that will be back from suspension in time for the playoff run...Merriman will find out what Peyton had for dinner the night before, all game long. No one on Indy is good enough to block Merriman.

I say either of the next two weeks. Very emotional high after the two big road wins. Easy to overlook a team like Buffalo.

Remember, we just saw Chicago get spanked by Miami. If ever there was a game that proved the old adage of 'Any Given Sunday', it was that game. Miami didn't look like they could beat their own second stringers, and they knock of the team that had been tearing through the league. That one shocked me.

I smell an emotional let down next week in Indi.
