Where do we rank them now? (1 Viewer)

The hot off the wire receivers this year were a hot topic for debate. Now with the starters on their respective teams coming back into the picture, and some more stats to work with, how do we feel about them?

Denarius Moore- Not as effective this past week. Looks like DHB is still holding on to the WR #2 spot. I think the discussion was that Ford's return should help, rather than hinder him. Still seems like a lot of mouths to feed in the Oakland passing game. Was the riskiest of the picks, he is a boom or bust type of player.

*Favorable: week 9 DEN, 13 @MIA

*Not: week 6 CLE

*Weeks 14-16: GB DET KC

Eric Decker - He seems to have the least amount of competition on his team. The highest scoring of the three thus far. Lloyd is back and Decker is still productive.

*Favorable: week 7 @MIA

*Not: Week 11 @NYJ

*Weeks 14-16:: CHI NE BUF

David Nelson- Predicted to be the most productive out of the three, has been the least productive. This is coming with everyone on the team healthy. Has the best QB out of the three. In the last game he was targeted the least, it looks like they still want Jones to be involved, as he can take the longer balls better.

*Favorable: Week 11 @MIA

*Not: Week 9 NYJ, 12 @NYJ, 13 TEN

*Weeks 14-16: SD MIA DEN

*Matchups based on stats through 4 weeks

I still believe that Decker has a HUGE question mark on him with the Tebow switch looming...NOT saying he wont keep getting targets (chances to produce) with Tebow, but id have to see it to comeplete buy in.

I'm not sure we've seen enough to say Moore or Nelson are any more or less attractive than what was expected in all of those threads. I do believe Decker deserves a bump from where I thought he would be, his performance this week was impressive. Decker seems to be the only one worth considering as a regular starter at this point and I agree Moore will continue to be feast or famine with the biggest upside game to game lacking any form of consistency. Let's see about Nelson next week, this was a terrible game for that entire team.

I had them Nelson, Decker, Moore when I put in my bids for them two weeks ago. I thought Moore had the highest ceiling but came with the most risk. I felt Nelson was the safest choice.

Now I'd rank them Moore, Decker, Nelson. Nelson's fallen off the map the last game-and-a-half while Moore keeps finding ways to score and Decker piles up the targets from Orton. Based on the past two weeks I'd say Moore and Decker have put a healthy amount of distance between them and Nelson although there's obviously a lot of time left for things to change.

Decker seems like a nice sell high player right now. He's garnering a healthy % of the Denver passing offense which will excite any team with under performers or an injury like AJ. For me, there is too much potential to lose value with a QB change. Sell

Moore is my favorite of the 3 despite playing for the Raiders. Thinking he will pan out this season as a must start after your WR1 and a slew of WR2s ala Sims-Walker. Buy

Haven't jumped on the David Nelson train yet. With the offensive explosion for a Buffalo team, I'd expect better results. Who is betting the Bills will keep up this pace? Not me. If you are a believer, that's probably a sign to get him before he becomes a fixture in someone's lineup. Haven't seen enough to make me consider him as more than a flex/bye week fill in. Pass

Right now I'd rank them

1. Decker - He's the real deal folk. Nice strong polished receiver with speed. The Packers secondary had nothing for him. And they have two pro bowlers and a pretty good nickel guy. He is able to run any route in the tree.

2. Nelson - had a down week and he hasn't matched that week two total. However he's played against some good defenses and he's being targetted. I think the Bills just had a down week. Nobody really got going including Nelson. I look for a bounce back of at least 5-60 this weekend.

3. Moore - My original trepidation with him had to do with this guy moreso than this guy. He had that big game when DHB was out. And he's gotten fewer and fewer targets as DHB has gotten healthy. Just as I feared. Talent wise, he's the best player here. But he's in such an odd situation, that I shied away. In a dynasty I cut him after week 1 for Eric Decker. I couldn't be happier with the decision both for this year and going forward.

I disagree. Moore got the touchdown and Nelson had a tough week. Getting that garbage time touchdown doesn't change the fact that against a very shaky NE pass defense, he had 2-13 through 59:27 in a game they trailed the whole way in. Now contrast that with Decker, whose team also got routed and you see he got a ton of targets and production. Nelson, like I mentioned just got caught up in a bad game by Buffalo. Cincinatti's defense is much better against the pass than New England's. They bogged this team down.

Was happy to land both Nelson and Moore couple weeks ago ... passed on Decker, and it will bite me now.

Nelson went damn near 5 quarters without a catch, over the course of the last 2 games. After a 6/84 first half vs. the Pats, he was shutout in the second half during a pass happy comeback win. Hoodie scheme or not, that is troubling.

Moore was hyped big time for the Pats game, and failed to deliver ... but, this is fantasy stats we are talking, so the gahhh-rbage time TD didn't hurt.

Decker keeps producing. The numbers do not lie. Looks to be the pick of the lot thus far. The supposed switch to Tebow can muddle this, but this guy just knows how to get open.

Decker >>> Moore >>>> Nelson.

That switch to Tebow may or may not happen. Remember how Fox stubbornly stuck to Deshaun Foster even though everyone could plainly see that DeAngelo was the better talent? He likes his veterans and he's a stubborn man. I put the switch at 50/50 to happen at any point this season. Elway didn't like Tebow until he got to know him (meaning he didn't like the game tape but now thinks he's a swell guy), and Fox has given no indication that he likes Tebow. No the fans? They do like Tebow. But whether that is enough remains to be seen. In fact, I'm trying to acquire Orton in a start 2qb league.

due to bye week and injuries I have to start all 3 this week.

decker has been consistant

nelson pops up now and then

moore seems like an after thought.

Originally would have said Nelson...Moore...Decker

But watching Decker really impressed me and made me remember seeing him at Minnesota doing similar things.

The guy has a knack for getting open and has great hands.

I think he has the better opportunity right now while teams continue to focus on Lloyd.

What's the value of Decker or any of these guys right now? Has Decker risen to solid WR2 status, on par with Bowe, Marshall, Lloyd, and Holmes?
