Where does Zeke end up? (1 Viewer)

Good guesses

I would bet a large amount of money he went to 1 of these 5

Dallas

Miami

Cleveland

Chicago

Oakland

I say Chicago and Miami are my 2 favorites

I love Zeke, but I'm growing uncomfortable with the amount of the _________ (insert Giants/Bears/Dolohins/etc) love Elliott "leaked" blurbs out there right now. Feels like teams may be hoping he goes before they pick presumably so someone they prefer slips to them.  I'll say he falls to 13, and the Dolphins grab him.

I would think the thoughts of him in Dallas is strong with Jerry Jones. I'm not sure it is the best move for the team but I can definitely understand how Jones might be thinking of what it would be like to have a new triplets, given the success of the originals. But at the end of the day, the Cowboys have to do something on the D-Line and Defense in general I think.

Was thinking about all the "leaks" this morning. I think in the Bears case it may be that they are trying to compel the Phins (who they have some trading connections with) to bit the bullet and trade up.

I really don't think the Bears are truly in this race. But to be honest, I don't know why the Dolphins are either.

If the Chargers select Jalen Ramsey, its the Cowboys, otherwise I think its the Giants then the Dolphins

Like Baltimore as well. QB coming off ACL, 30 year old Forsett. Can see them bouncing back with offense built around Zeke. Smith and Perriman return, added Wallace to go with Aiken. they have other needs but this pick could make a ton of sense and help them jump back to contender status. Keep remembering Ozzie drafting Jamal Lewis.

If Jerry Reece hadn't ignore my mock draft last year,  they would have Gurley already.

Now he's forced to take this pill-popping, coach-killing poor man's Gurley.

Giants ran out and spent money like my girl in Bed, Bath&Beyond.  You can smell the desperation.  Best chance to get impact from a draft pick is Eazy E.  Keep him away from the drugs, and they should be OK.

Could you back up the Deetz truck on this?  What kind of pills are we talking?

Eazy E likes the molly.

Joey Bosa moved out of their apartment to get away from the party.  Bosa was suspended for a game thi year because he refused to take a drug test.  Once he was able to get himself to GNC, he took a test, passed, then got back on the field.

That it's molly is actually a relief.. If you were tell me he was hooked on benzos or opiates then I would be trading all of my 1.01s

It seems a little premature to label E2 guilty?  At this point they are unsubstantiated rumors, no? Could be a case of someone selling wolf tickets in hopes Elliot's drops to them.

I heard he held his Pro Day at Burning Man, and ran a 4.48 with glow sticks in his hands.   :headbang:

LOL. I heard in  high school one time he purposely put his shoes on the wrong feet and skipped rather than ran when his name was called. He still rushed for +200 in that game.  :P

As a Giants' fan I would love to see this but on WFAN , nfl analysts have been hinting they're taking Leonard Floyd (Ga) or Jack Conklin .Can you explain the coach killing? he won the Natl  Championship for Meyer..he did kill Saban on his way.then dropped a record setting performance on the highly rated Oregon Ducks ..things like that cant be taken lightly. They totally misued him vs Mich St last season.I was at that game.friends and I were like WTF is Meyer doing?? coaches killed him more than the other way around.seems like a good kid.

Ill take your word on it ..you are one of the best posters here and Ive enjoyed reading your stuff.

Im betting the ranch he goes to Dallas #4.Dallas reps will be standing behind SD reps as the Chargers make their pick.and before Goodell even announces SDs selection,  Dallas hands in the pick for Zeke...'cat that ate the canary' look on their faces as they hand in the card.

And damn I wished the Giants listened to you and took Gurley..

Rashad Jennings??? oh brother..

I am completely messing around on Elliott.

One thing I do wonder about:  No one talk about his running ability.

Hopefully his liver won't give out before he turns 28.
You must not know much about ecstasy.  If everyone's liver gave out who did it in their younger days,  half of us would be dead by now.  Relax.  Popular college kid did some ecstasy in his college years. Not a big deal

Yup. Browns are going to own the next 2 drafts.
I feel like the only ones worse at drafting than the Browns are the people grading the Browns.  Seems like every other year or so that people are talking about how the Browns actually did really really well in the draft.

By "own" I meant with the number if picks they'll have.

That being said, dont think we've EVER had a more competent group of individuals making decisions since... I cant even say it, it hurts too much

Yea that makes sense.  Just something I've been thinking about lately and finally went back and looked at.  The way everyone talks about the Browns it's like everyone was giving them an F every year.  The reality is that over the last 5 years going just off post-draft grades by analysts, they were probably actually in the top 3 for the entire league overall.  It's not like they're making dumb obvious blunders.  Everyone loves what they're doing, it's just not working out.

2015: B+

2014: A (best in NFL)

2013: C-

2012: B

2011: B+

2010: B+

10, 11, 13 and 14 are the likely spots for him.  I don't think he is a top 10 pick at RB, but should fall in the top 15.  I see enough good players in the top 15 that those four teams wouldn't need to move up.  Who, outside of the top 15 needs him and has the ammo to move up?

Miami loves "winning the offseason" and adding big names...Zeke would be a big splash and that seems to the #1 factor when they make decisions...

Such horrible decision-makers.
I see it first-hand locally with the Red Sox...they feel like they have to always be making a big move regardless of whether it makes sense or not...it is how you end up with horrible contracts like Pablo Sandoval and Hanley Ramirez...you have non-sports people making decisions who believe winning the offseason is just as important as winning actual games...absolute recipe for disaster...

If you could draft Adrian Peterson - knowing you'd get his entire career the way he's played - where would you take him?  Number one overall?   What about Jamaal Charles?  Lesean McCoy?  Tomlinson?  Even Barry sanders?

How many Superbowls did those guys have combined?

I'm not opposed to taking a running back early and I obviously don't think those teams lost solely because they had good running backs.  Marshawn Lynch, Terrell Davis and Emmitt Smith obviously helped their teams out quite a bit.  But the best rb in the game might not be worth a top five pick when top running backs don't correlate that well with championships.

Now name the top defensive backs and defensive linemen in this generation - Revis, Sherman, Norman,  Peterson have 3 rings, 4 superbowl appearances and a ton of conference championship games between them.

Freeney, Ware, Michael Bennett, Jared Allen,  jpp, Mario Williams, Campbell - there are a lot of titles and conference championships in that crowd too.

Elliott could be everything his biggest fans hope for and still not be worth the number four pick.
