Where to find first-year IDP starters? (1 Viewer)

Any idea an easy way or place to find first year IDP starters. I am in a salary cap dyno league with salaries based off last years production. First year starters are a great way to get OK backups while saving a lot of cap space. Any suggestions other than looking at each team one at a time.

:goodposting: to the Forum.

Are you looking for rookies who are expected to start, veterans who are moving into the starting lineup this season, or both? I'm not aware of a separate database with just that information. Our depth charts are kept up to date daily during camps and are among the deepest and most accurate on the internet.

I can probably rip through the charts pretty quickly, depending on what you're looking for.

To give examples I drafted Ruud and Keiaho last year for this reason. (cut Keiaho before the season started to meet roster limit. :bag: ) I'm looking for vets who have had limited playing time and are now in a starting role.

There are others, but those with a good chance to have above replacement level value include:Nedu Ndukwe CIN SDhani Jones CIN LBNiko Koutouvides DEN LBDemorrio Williams KC LB (if he earns WLB job)Eric Weddle SD SChike Okeafor ARI LBCharles Johnson CAR DE (iffy)Aaron Rouse GB S (if wins FS job)Ray Edwards MIN DE (again)Victor Abiamiri PHI DEStewart Bradley PHI LB

Just a couple more off the top of my head

Paul Poszlusny BUF LB

Gerris Wilkinson NYG LB

Justin Durant JAX LB

Jonathan Vilma NOS LB

Though Vilma and Poz are just injury guys not suddenly gaining starter jobs. But I figure it serves the same purpose.

Can't comment on all of them but Mayo and Lofton both seem like they're going to put up the tackles this year.

Harvey still hasn't signed which would open the door for Quentin Groves except he had a terrible outing against Miami.

Lawrence Jackson has really been impressing in Seattle, but probably not enough to take the majority of Tapp's snaps. Probably just enough to really anger Tapp owners.

Merling is probably in the wrong system to be a reliable fantasy starter.

LB Rivers, Lofton, dizon, mayoDE long, harvey, jackson, merlingDB phillips, jackson, flowers, mckelvin
:confused:Glenn Dorsey, Sedrick Ellis, Vernon Gholston, Charles Godfrey, Terrence Wheatley and Tracy Porter are also likely to see significant snaps early this season.

Top rookies don't meet the bill, nor are they cheap sleepers.
