Where to host FF Dynasty league? (1 Viewer)

Greetings,

Long time Footballguys subscriber and Audible listener, first post. First off, I am not sure if this is the appropriate forum to ask this question, so take it easy on the rookie if it isnt.

I commish a dynasty league using Yahoo. It is generally a good site, but is limited to 30 total roster spots and we'd like to expand. Curious on any input from commissioners running a dynasty league if ESPN or NFL.com (or any other sites) are better and have larger roster limits?

Thx!

Myfantasyleague.com is as good as it gets, but it has a yearly fee. I have also used fleaflicker, and still do for my oldest league. I am not sure about roster spots, however.

MFL is by far, hands down, your best option for league hosting.
I just checked the site, roster limit is 80, well above our needs. Here's what MyFantasyLeague.com allows you to have in your fantasy football league: Up to 80 players per roster Up to 64 teams Up to 16 divisions Up to 4 conferences Thx !

I have a salary cap, contract dynasty league on MFL that just finished our 8th year. 55 player rosters. They even have support for things like punters, team kick return units, head coaches (or we actually use team offense so it's a team head coach rather than a named head coach so the Indy coach is always there even if Chuck Pagano is in the hospital for example).

They also have tools to help you track contracts, increment contract years and/or salary, etc. You can do slow or fast drafts, slow or fast auctions. We do a tagged player auction, a rookie draft, and then a vet auction (requires setting league type to auction doing it, then change league type to draft+auction).

They also don't delete your old leagues, and have modules that show franchise stats throughout the history of the league.

Also, don't forget to use the $10 FBG discount when you sign up if you're a member here. You can also get $10 multi-league discounts, and there is a new league referral discount that an existing league can get. So ask your leaguemates if anyone uses MFL for a league already and you can cut their price. Between multi-league, FBG discount, referral, and early bird pricing, one of my leagues cost $30 last year. :excited:

Edit to add: There are skins for changing the appearance. There are also people who will customize your site appearance for a one-time fee if you want to make it look really glitzy. There are some posts from last season showing examples you can probably find if you search.

MFL is the best. :football:

i ran a dynasty league on mfl.

crazy, bloated setup. mfl met the need tho.

mfl's setup customization is the best there is, esp for dynasty.

im not talking skin and stuff.

the flexibility in the scoring, roster designations, salary stuff, all that kind of stuff... awesome.

:goodposting: I commish all my leagues on MFL. Been using them since 2002. Absolutely the best in the business, and they only get better every year.
Forgot to add that I also enjoy being able to set up a league and tinker with all kinds of options without paying for it. Especially useful when transitioning to new rules and you want to experiment.
