Which backup QB most likely to see the field? (1 Viewer)

ookook

Many of us play in 2QB leagues where it is hard to roster enough QBs. So if the rosters are large enough, we need to look at some backups that might get a chance to start whether due to promotion/demotion or injury.

Which QBs are most likely to be able to contribute to a fantasy team this season?

We can get the obvious rookied of Sanchez and Stafford out of the way. So who else?

Jackson? Thigpen? Boller? Carr? Henne? Garcia?

TIA,

OOK!

Jeff Garcia- When Russell has a 35% completion percentage and the raiders are losing games by 3 points.

Tyler Thigpen- I'm not a huge believer in Matt Cassell and I believe his balloon will pop early this year.

Chris Simms- assuming Kyle Orton starts the year as the starter.

Byron Leftwich- assuming Luke McCown starts the year as the starter.

Vince Young- Old Kerry Collins, VY making noise about wanting to see the field, coaching staff will get the twinkle of his rookie year in their eyes.

Kyle Boller and David Carr......ummmmm, no.

Ryan Fitzpatrick. At least he would be a body if you play in a two start QB league.

Trent Edwards has always had injurys to deal with.

Chad Henne.

I love me the Penny, but he is not the only Two-time Comeback Player of the Year for nothing. With that said, Ginn and Bess make me augh more than strike fear in my heart...Evans and Owens and Moss and Welker on the other hand...

I'm going to go with Tyler Thigpen. He had a decent stretch last season playing out of a spread formation and I think Cassel may end up Scott Mitchell part 2 without Moss and Welker and company. Cassel's propensity for being sacked won't help him playing behind KC's OL either.
