lol...i thought about starting this very thread today!

I voted Baltimore, but that's only because I'm allowed one vote. I could easiliy vote for San Fran, but they didn't bang me in the butt like the orioles did last night.

Oh, and no Brewers option? As good as Cordero has been, his set up guys sucketh very mucheth.

Sorry, this was hastily put together. I just wanted to take advantage of the warm feelings certain posters have for teams.

Anybody happen to have a link to find out something like this???

It looks like TB and Colorado are bad.....

but I had to vote "Whichever team GM is betting on" :thumbup"

Tampa is awful but you pretty much expect them to be.

Among MLB bullpens, Detroit has to be the biggest disappointment, people had high expectations for them. Some of it is definately injury related though. Not sure why Todd Jones sucks so bad though.

Baltimore and San Fran are just sneaky bad. You don't expect them to be as bad as they are but they will let you down more than can be tolerated.

Tampa has quite a few guys with ERAs over 6.
seriously, how DO YOU NOT include the D-Rays. Casey ####### Fossum for ####'s sake.Fossum 7.74Glover 4.91Jackson 7.77Lugo 9.28Stokes 6.66Salas 3.95Reyes 2.10
Salas shouldn't count since he cheated and is off the team. The Tigers have been killed by injuries. The Rays bullpen is terrible and can't be trusted with anything less than a 5 run lead. Shawn Camp is allowing 65% of inherited runners to score...and he's supposedly one of our primary setup guys :wall:

turn on the Rays game to end this discussion game, set, and match.

They were handed an 11-5 lead and they currently have 2 men on with the game tying run at the plate, with nobody out in the 9th.

Chicago White Sox

But oh by the way, half of them got optioned to Triple A. :towelwave:

Baltimore devoted their offseason to fixing the bullpen, plus they have the most overrated pitching coach in the game. That amuses me.

Rays are too freaking cheap to pay for the plane tickets to send the pen back to Durham :hot: Besides Reyes, and actually Glover of late, there isn't a guy in that pen that deserves a major league job. They should all be napalmed to the waiver wire.

A lot of bad bullpens out there. Might see bullpen help being pretty expensive to acquire this season especially with a few of the better teams like Detroit, Cleveland, The Yankees, and the White Sox having trouble. Guys like Linebrink, Dotel, one of the Texas relievers, and maybe a Brad Lidge might cost much more than they normally would.

I dont think there is any question that acquiring bullpen help will be expensive. Basic supply and demand here and there just aren't a lot of even decent arms available.

Rays pen has given up 8 runs tonight in only 2 innings. They were handed an 8-6 lead and gave up 3 in the 6th and 4 in the 7th. It is so bad reserve IF Josh Wilson is warming up to come in.

During the White Sox/Astros game last night they flashed up the stat that the White Sox bullpen has the worst ERA in baseball at 5.80. Horrible. They get my vote.

the phillies bullpen allowed 11 runs to the kansas city freaking royals today. top that.
the Rangers bullpen allowed a home run to Craig Counsell. First of the year for him. Number 32 in his 12-year career. :coffee:   :hifive:
The Phils gave up a HR to Tony Pena Jr. - first of the year and second in his career. And being a Royals fan, I really didn't think that he'd hit one this year. The guy is just horrendous at the plate. Can't hit for power, average, can't bunt...if only you could steal first. I'd still take him over Berroa though.

Another solid gasoline outing from the O's pen last night against the Nats.

Chris Ray gives up 3 walks and a triple in the top of the 11th as the O's lose 9-6.

Of course, Chief Cordero blew the save in the bottom of the 9th for the Nats thanks to a leadoff walk and several bloop hits, but the O's pen (Williamson IIRC) let the Nats go ahead in the 7th or 8th.
