Which Elite WR Most Likely to Propel Teams to FF Playoffs? (1 Viewer)

Which of these WRs do you think are capable of almost single-handedly carrying you to the playoffs and championship this year?

Randy Moss - Brady improving, schedule isn't the greatest though and he's been up and down.

Calvin Johnson - Looks to finally play this week; great schedule but terrible supporting cast.

Vincent Jackson - Gates and Malcom Floyd threats to VJax's targets and TDs?

Wayne - On fire, only concern is limited play in week 16.

AJ - With Daniels down, more targets but perhaps more coverage too.

Fitz - Easy schedule, Boldin dinged, but Warner can't throw downfield.

Roddy - Tough schedule but looks good right now.

Colston - See Wayne.

Jennings - Easy schedule - had a good stat line last week. Finally awakening?

Miles Austin - Can he continue to roll? Schedule stiffens considerably here on out.

(Edited to add Austin)

Who do you like best of this bunch?

I'd add Welker to this list...Brady is heating up and Welker gets into the end zone when he's behind center...and when you add TDs to his steady receptions and yardage it takes him to another level.

It has to be Miles Austin because most likely everyone who has him got him off the WW which means they should have another WR who is either on that list or almost as good.

I have him in a 1ppr league and I'm not sure I'd trade him straight up for any other WR right now. Welker is money in PPR leagues. Consistent money!

:football: Doesn't neccessarily mean a WR will propel you to the next level if he is offset by a RB.

So you need to do a RB segment too.

Where's Austin?
He has one of the most difficult schedules against the pass to close out the season. Combine that with the fact that he's faced 2 of the worst pass defenses in the league in the past 3 weeks and you have a guy that should come back down to earth pretty quickly.

I think you're missing the point. The key word is "propel", not the guy that set you up for the playoffs. The stud that's been laying in the weeds a bit and will finish weeks 9 or 10 through 13 in a flurry. Unless you think Austin will be as good or better than he has been over this next stretch in the schedule - in which case I have a wager for you. My money is on Calvin to make good over the next 6 weeks for owners clinging on that have stayed in the hunt.

Moss.

I think Vincent Jackson's biggest threat to targets is more touches to LT. If the running game gets going Jackson will see a reduced role and you know LT will get redzone looks.

Moss, he can blow up for 2-3 TD's a week at a somewhat consistent basis now that Brady is back in tune.

Elite may be a bit of a srecth, but I love MSW's upcoming schedule. 5 of their next 7 games are at home, and say what you will about Garrard, but he has been indisputably :moneybag: at home.

We'll see. I don't think he will put up 5/200/1 per week, but I don't think he will be 3/40/0 each week, either. Also, the pass D's may be difficult, but I am not particularly scared about this schedule. Sun, Nov 8 @ Philadelphia Sun, Nov 15 @ Green Bay Sun, Nov 22 WASHINGTONThurs, Nov 26 OAKLAND Sun, Dec 6 @ New York GiantsSun, Dec 13 SAN DIEGO Sat, Dec 19 @ New Orleans Sun, Dec 27 @ Washington Sun, Jan 3 PHILADELPHIA

I don't think I am missing the point, to be honest. I was asking where one of the top 15 WRs in the league was on this list (he's 10 on my list). I do think he will be top 20 the rest of the way. If you add in a top 20 WR off the ww (redrafts) to go with some "elite" WRs that you drafted, Austin could be the reason you're in the playoffs.

I just traded Moss for Fitz this week, I like ARI's schedule the rest of the way and especially in the playoffs. Here's their upcoming schedule:

Week 9 = Nov 8 vs CHI

Week 10 = Nov 15 vs SEA

Week 11 = Nov 22 vs STL

Week 12 = Nov 29 vs TEN

Week 13 = Dec 6 vs MIN

Week 14 = Dec 14 vs SF

Week 15 = Dec 20 vs DET

Week 16 = Dec 27 vs STL

Week 17 = Jan 3 vs GB

So 2 games left vs STL, including 1 in the playoffs...and lots of other great matchups in there as well with Detroit in the playoff schedule also.

I'll 2nd this vote - I just invested heavily into MSW after looking over his schedule. Managed to get him as a WR3 behind Wayne and Fitz and I'm hoping he's the piece that puts us over the top.

Figures.....I just sold him and Jammal Charles for Pierre Thomas. I hope my remaining WRs can carry me.
