Plax out week 5 and possibly more suspension time to follow from the nfl

who will have the most value in ppr (i'm assuming toomer is rostered already in most leagues)

domenik hixon replacing plax

or

steve smith out of the slot

i like smith between him and dixon. eli has built some good chemistry with him, lookin his way alot on third down and short yardage situations. i really like kevin boss this week though. think he'll take advantage of the balls that would be headed towards plax more then dixon will. could be a sneaky start.

Toomer will be the beast, I hope, no one else to throw to really. I just snagged him off waivers, the guy I'm playin this week just dropped him for M. Austin!!!

Of the 2 listed, I like S Smith, but my opinion to the whole NYG offense is that neither will be a great play this week.

Seattle has a decent defense and NYG will run more and throw short routes (Boss & S Smith/Toomer).

A Bradshaw will see a few screens too.

I do not expect it to be a high scoring game.... NYG 20 - SEA 13

Giants homer for what it's worth... Steve smith is the go-to guy now. Amani will get his but I see Steve Smith especially in PPR leagues. His routes are crisp and has a healthy ability to just get open underneath.

I wonder if it'll equate to a few more targets for Boss(at least in the RZ)?

Not that he's done a lot with the few he's got so far.

Who said anything about the NFL handing out a further suspension beyond what the giants have already penalized Plax?

He was never a "beast" in that offense, even before Plaxico got there & he still had youth on his side. Now he's 34 and the other options certainly have more upside. It would be more logical to think it's time for Steve Smith to take that next step and build off his impressive postseason last year.

I equate this to NO somewhat. Smith is Lance Moore, Hixon is Robert Meachem.
Sort of, but not really, because unlike the Saints, the Giants O is based off the run (i.e. Hedgecock in at FB and 2 WR sets). This is where Plax makes his money off of the play action. Hixon for this week, Smith for long term.
