I voted Irvin, but I am in total agreement on Theisman being the absolute WORST. :bag:

He is so overbearing and self-righteous , I couldn't bear to watch MNF when he was there.

:(

Is it just me or do you think Coach Ditka would beat the #### out of Irvin if given half the chance ...LOL

You can see he gets on Ditka's last nerve.

Other: I can't stand Cris Collinsworth. He has a cocky attitude and always has a stupid smirk on his face. Just bugs the hell out of me. He acts like his opinion is higher than everyone else's.

There's just something about the way he carries himself on air that makes me think he must be a real jerk.

Out of that list, Berman is absolutely the worst. Awful.I chose other, though, because you didn't put Merrill Hoge on there as a choice.
Merrill "the Lacking Back" Hoge.Actually - it might be Joe Thees-Man - doesn't rhyme with anything until he changes his name to do so.Rice & Keyshawn are new, and therefore I give them a pass - they may learn & improve.Berman at least had a heyday - Hoge & Theismann never did.

I like Howie Long okay, but other than that, you could make an argument that either everyone on that list struggles to talk intelligently about football or they think we're all pretty dumb. It's disappointing how little credit we get as viewers. Hopefully some network will eventually take a chance and try to bing us less schtick and more insight.
You've got to realize most viewers are as dumb as posts, so they need to talk to them as well.

I voted other:Adam Schein (Sirius)He makes me want to poke out my eardrums so I don't have to listen to his obnoxious voice.
BRING IT STUGNUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!I agree, he sucks with a vengeance.

He may not be a sports analyst, but Keith Olberman has become quite an irritation to me over the last few weeks.

Can we please have him exiled back to MSNBC?????

I have to think Jerry Rice would be getting more votes if Sirius/NFL Network was free.
:excited: Obviously most... umm people haven't... umm heard Jerry Rice's... umm analysis. Oh yeah, did I... umm mention he... umm played wiff Joe Montana?

Salisbury...

Easily the worst. He definitely seems like the kind of guy who would take polaroids of his junk and pass it along to his female co-workers.

:excited: KO's great. I have no idea what you're talking about. He's the only one worth watching on that show.

Peter King and it's not even close.
:excited:  :goodposting: Peter King - THE WORST!! CLUELESS KNOWS NOTHING. I can't believe he gets paid as an NFL analyst. I opened this thread just to chime in with King, NO ONE'S AS BAD AS HIM.

I going to have disagree with you here. Peter King has some real good sources and he has had some crazy preseason predictions come true.

Salisbury is worthless - he reads the game about as well as he used to read defenses as a player. I don't know how he got his gig with ESPN - he offers no insight that would suggest he played in the NFL. And Theisman can kill a game for me - the day he was replaced by Jaws should have been declared a national holiday.

... but Keyshawn was very good when he did the draft.
I actually kind of like Keyshawn. He isn't great by any means, but he seems to be the best among the former recent players. Then again, after listening to Irvin, my expectations were low.
