Which Offense will have the best week? (1 Viewer)

Denver at home vs an average team (at best)

The Rams on the road vs an average team (that has looked better than Jacksonville so far -- but it's early).

Denver

Denver, because I have T. Henry. 26/185/3!! Hopes of desperate man..
I have Henry too. I'm looking for 4 TD'd though. I pick Denver.Wait, I have Bulger as well. I say 364 yds and 5 TD's for Bulger. I pick the RamsWait, I'm a Denver :moneybag: Denver 91 Jax 3. I pick Denver.OK enough of that. I seriously think Den/Jax will be fairly low scoring. I'm thinking it's going to be more of a defensive battle. According to MOP's QB thread, Den and Jax rank #1 and #2 in passing D, so you would think both teams will be running the ball more and using up more clock. I'm sensing a 17-13 type game. I would honestly think the Rams put up more points than Denver this week.

Wait, I'm a Denver  Denver 91 Jax 3. I pick Denver.

I realize that you're just quoting someone else, so I'm not picking on you, but holy #### thats a ridiculous misrepresentation of facts. Consider the QBs that those defenses have gone up against so far: JP Losman, Cade McCown, Joey Harrington, Vince Young. Now consider the #1 WRs they've gone up against(according to yahoo sports depth charts): Lee Evans, Ronald Curry, Laurent Robinson, and Brandon Jones. Is it really that surprising that they rank #1 and #2 in pass defense?

Last year they ranked 7th(Jac) and 20th(Den) in pass defense, and I think thats a more accurate stat(although I realize that Bly will have a big impact on Denver probably, so they'll move up).

I agree with this. Jacksonville could get its running game going against Denver's currently soft run D, but they will definitely have trouble picking on Champ or Bly + safety for that matter. Denver needs Henry to set up its passing attack but they (not to mention Henry himself) historically have had trouble against Jacksonville's front seven (Stroud and Henderson are BEASTS). One thing I'd like to add is that Denver's front seven should consistently show improvement against the run as DJ Williams acclimates to Mike and the new Dline gels.Broncos 20

Jacksonville 14
