Which players from the last couple fantasy drafts (1 Viewer)

Time again to re-evaluate Dynasty rosters. I have several players I am ready to throw the towel in on. Like to see who other owners are giving up on.

Mark Clayton - I know most sensible people have already given up on the guy, but I was stuborn. He showed some great flashes and who would have thought Mason would still be productive? I finally see he is a run of the mill WR.

Ted Ginn Jr. - Even when they force the ball to him, he just isn't that good. Will never be a stud in this league.

Brian Brohm - Just terrible.

Malcolm Kelly - Two years and hasn't even shown a flash.

Limas Sweed - See above

Brady Quinn - I just dont see him as a franchise type QB. Could be decent one day, but I'd much rather let someone else wait on him.

Josh Johnson - While a project when drafted, he only had an average showing when given the chance to start. Freeman is the future there.

Danny Ware - nothing special.

A couple players on the cusp - Earl Bennett (Martz coming to town saves him), Darren McFadden & Michael Bush (values go hand in hand, if one goes down and the Radiers learn how to block, one could have some real value), Josh Morgan ( not a good passing team and still outplayed by a rookie)

I am ready to give up on Sweed also but I keep seeing Meachem and Rice those two guys took a while to come around. So is Sweed a Meachem or a Jarrett?

I am giving up on Ginn also.

I gave up on Josh Johnson when he lost his starter role to Freeman there is no way they are going back to him now but I am keeping a tab on him just in case he moves somewhere else in the future. Maybe Gruden gets another gig somewhere and he will get another shot.

I was ready to give up on Matt Jones but I might hold for a while and see.

I am seriously thinking of cutting my losses with Keenan Burton, history of knee injuries and now another one plus with all of the competition the Rams have brought in and he not likely to be ready early I think he gets lost in the multitude of #2, #3 and #4 WR's the rams have.

I am also wary of holding TE Kellen Davis, I know all the talk is about how Martz signing will effect Olsen but this doesnt this young fella lose out also? or is he a better blocker than Olsen and actually see a rise in value?

Mercedes Lewis I am giving up on as ever becoming a #1 TE and I have resigned to the fact that he is a #2 at best.

Colt Brennan will never get a shot now, Drew Stanton will never get another shot, so I am cutting those two.

Couple of vets who I will be cutting this season McMichael, Holt, Pennington, Willie Parker.

On the IDP front I will be trying to find new homes or cutting the following - Witherspoon, Little, Carpenter, Vrabel, Henry, Whitner.

He was a lot faster as a rookie, but seems to have lost a step due to injury. He was set to be a great deep threat, but I just don't think he's fast enough anymore to be that guy.
Danny Ware - nothing special.
This one confused me. He has done great in spot duty. Much better than Gartrell Johnson. If Jacobs continues to show he's not worth the $, he becomes a backup/short yardage/goalline to a guy who is often injured (Bradshaw).
Josh Morgan ( not a good passing team and still outplayed by a rookie)
This seems too critical. He was overvalued by 1 good preseason performance his rookie year, but you can't fault him for looking not as good as Crabtree, and really it's not like Crabtree blew him out of the water. To say SF isn't a good passing team is a little short sighted too. If Smith continues to start, they will run the spread and pass a lot. If Smith is benched, the next QB may be better and they have a lot of talent at WR and TE now to become a great passing team.

I am holding onto Morgan, and WareWare is a UFA if Im not mistaken, and I don't see him back in NY. It's worth it, just to see where he winds up?

Morgan most likely signed a minimum 3 yr deal, so he should be a FA after next season. I am willing to hold tight onto a guy, that has shown some flashes in limited time....

i dropped sweed in the offseason. nothing suggested that he was worth holding onto. the kid is in great offense, was given every opportunity to excel and was simply outplayed by wallace. he's got no heart. he has great physical skills but no motor. maybe a change of scenery will help him.

A name that hasn't been mentioned yet is laurence maroney...besides the fact that New england seems content to run a rbbc, maroney isn't even the top rb in that rbbc

shouldnt his time in NE be about up after next season? I know he was young when he entered the league, I wouldnt just cut him anyways.

I agree with you that he shouldn't just be dropped, but I'd definitely would sell him if I can

Brandon Jackson - finally cut my loss and added him as a throw in even though I highly over paid in his rookie year.
