I believe the Eagles are looking for some Depth. Westbrook is not 100%. Buckhalter is not someone you can count on. Am I crazy to think there shopping the waiver wire?

Haven't the Eagles had enough problems with keeping RBs healthy? Why add Davenport? He gets hurt in limited duty roles.

I still don't understand the love for Davenport on this forum. He was an RFA two springs ago with a 4th round tender and there were no takers, and last spring he was a UFA and had no takers. Teams just don't seem that interested to me. He'll probably catch on with another team, but I don't see him doing much, although this board will still hype him.

I believe they won't add a running back.

Reno Mahe might as well be an adopted son the Andy Reid and the team really likes Bruce Perry. I think depth is a concern but with five tailbacks on the roster, I think they believe quantity over quality will get them through.

Davenport or Dayne...they both fit the bill, big bruising back to balance out the smaller size of Westbrook and his clones on the team now.

i think mostly because he knows the west coast offense.

They kept 5 RBs...It's possible they add someone, but I doubt it.

Dayne never has been and never will be a "bruising back". Buckhalter is the bigger back you speak of to balance out Westbrook/Moats.
