Which team provides best situation for rookie QB? (1 Viewer)

Ok, forget about the actual QBs for a minute. I'm not asking which QB you like and which will bust. Ryan and Flacco were so successful last year because of the talent arount them. Which QB will have the most talent around him this year?

Offensive line- Bucs/Jets

Receivers/TEs- Bucs/Lions

Running game- Jets/Bucs/Lions

Defense- Jets/Bucs

Overall, I think the Bucs have the most talent of the 3 teams, with the Jets being a very close 2nd. The Bucs have very good receivers (Winslow, Bryant), solid backs (Graham, Ward), and an excellent line. I also the defensive will continue to be top 10.

The Bucs and Jets are in a very unique position here. Usually when a team drafts a "franchise" qb, it's because the team was pretty bad the year before and was picking at the top of the draft. Both the Jets and Bucs actually have a lot of talent, and provide great situations for their young QBs to succeed.

So which team do you think is the best situation for a rookie QB?

Also, besides a player like Matt Leinart (the jury is still out on him) who hasn't been able to win the job from a great veteran in front of him... can you think of any QBs that were busts despite being in very good situations?

I'll assume you mean first round picks who totally busted?VY went to a pretty good situation. JP Losman, Kyle Boller, Rex Grossman, Cade McNown, Jim Druckenmiller, Todd Marinovich...I'm still trying to understand your premise, that Freeman is a "franchise QB"? I just don't see it.

Thanks. I wasn't trying to say there wasn't any QBs that busted in good situations before, but I was drawing a complete blank. Also, I wasn't implying anything with this post. I just think that both Sanchez and Freeman are in very good situations for success, and was curious what others thought.
