Which teams will limit their starters (1 Viewer)

NE needs to win to get homefield vs. Indy if that should happen and vice versa

BAL and SD need to win for Homefield

CHI and NO are the only ones with truly nothing on the line

....I think

Correct.

EDIT: NE also has nothing to play for. Even with a win and an Indy loss, theyd lose the tiebreaker.

yup correct

Chicago and New Orleans have absolutely nothing to play for.

Also, Seattle has nothing to play for either, they can't move to #3, they are locked into seed #4.

Philly COULD sit their starters if Detroit beats Dallas (can't believe I said that with a straight face)

New England will play for the win since they can still finish 3rd, but last year Belichek played it strategically and put in Flutie for the drop kick since BB wanted to avoid Pittsburgh first round and play Jax. Who knows how NE plays it.

Baltimore and Indy will play their starters since both can get the first round bye and their games are going on at the same time.

San Diego still needs to clinch home field so their players should play into the 4th quarter at which time they will probably be up so much on AZ that the starters will rest.

I could also see SD, Balt, and Indy doing some scoreboard watching during their games to see if their fates are already sealed.

If KC loses and the Jets lose in the morning, Denver has the tiebreaker over most of the team so they could have clinched #5 by then too.

IncorrectNE and Indy are tied, a NE victory and IND loss and NE gets the #3 seed, Indy gets the #4 seed. Difference of going to San Diego in week 2 or Baltimore, I'd choose Baltimore.

If the giants win on saturday, all the 7-8 teams playing on sunday are done (STL, CAR, ATL) If the Giants win, Green bay will be also be out of it unless something strange like a 10-game parlay comes in on sunday that gives them the advantage in the "strength of victory" tiebreaker, making their game against Chi meaningful. Otherwise a Giants win probably means the packers are out too.

If the giants lose to the skins, STL and CAR are both in play at 1 on sunday

If the giants lose, but the Panthers win, the Falcons still have nothing to play for by 4:15. They need both NYG and CAR to lose.

For the Packers game to be meaningful if the Giants lose, Either STL has to lose, or Car or ATL has to win. (They lose a 2-way with STL, but win a 3-way with STL and one of the NFC south teams)
