Can't seem to find a consensus among all the FF websites that I visit. I'd like to tap into the Shark Pool expertise to see if we're any better at predicting the future than the experts.

You can vote for more than one RB. And you can interpret "best fantasy stats" any way that you want (i.e., you can vote for a player because you think he'll have ONE monster game, or you can vote for the player that you think will get 5 points a game the rest of the year).

The only one not looking over his shoulder, Charles.

Norwood's my wildcard. People loved that guy. What is the deal with his health, exactly?

Also picked Charles, but only because he doesn't have anyone breathing down his neck. I like Forsett better, but if Jones comes back his carries will drop, though probably not to prior levels.

You don't think that Kolby Smith is that serious of a competitor? He did have 33% of the carries last week.
He might take goal line carries, but Charles has home-run ability and is far more talented on a touch-to-touch basis. Smith is a plodder that does very little to gain yardage aside from run forward.

If Jones goes down, Greene becomes an immortal in the rookie MJD or Nick Goings type legend.

That said, Snelling has a realllllllly nice schedule IIRC and should be a big help down the stretch if Turner stays out.

Great question. The beauty of it is that strong arguments can be made for many of the guys listed.

FWIW I voted Forsett. I think his upside is the highest. The others I see as either no better than serviceable (Charles, given the KC line woes, and Betts, given the WAS woes and their sched), or one- or two-weeks and done type of options when the big dog returns (the ATL guys and CIN guys).

I think Forsett has staying power, plus the legitimate chance of posting more weeks like last week.

Kolby has spent two weeks doing his best to play himself OUT of a role. Look at his yards per carry. It's 1 or 2 yards and a cloud of dust...

the easy answer is it is between Betts, Charles, and Forsett for the combination of playing time and upside. I think Forsett has the most balanced skill set (I would say his skillset is somewhere between Kevin Faulk and an unrealistic ceiling of ray rice ... he doesn't have the body and subsequently the power of RR) and has an incumbent RB that no one loves ... Betts should be the best but Portis will loom until the season is out ... I say Forsett on upside

I'm surprised at all the votes for Forsett and Charles, since they're both replacing players who didn't do all that much in the first place. Julius Jones was barely startable, and Larry Johnson was waiver wire fodder even in larger leagues.

But maybe that's just a sign that the FFA believes that Tuner and Benson (and Portis?) will return to the field sooner rather than later.

I wonder if the percentages would be any different if the question had been "Which RB will get the most total playing time through Week 16?"

Code:
Jason Snelling (ATL) [ 31 ] ** [9.39%]Jerious Norwood (ATL) [ 6 ] ** [1.82%]Justin Forsett (SEA) [ 98 ] ** [29.70%]Bernard Scott (CIN) [ 19 ] ** [5.76%]Larry Johnson (CIN) [ 11 ] ** [3.33%]Jamaal Charles (KC) [ 78 ] ** [23.64%]Michael Bush (OAK) [ 15 ] ** [4.55%]Lex Hilliard (MIA) [ 9 ] ** [2.73%]Ladell Betts (WAS) [ 63 ] ** [19.09%]

People have been wanting Forsett to get playing time for weeks precisely because Jones is terrible. When he did, he was quite successful. I'd be surprised if he hadn't wound up first or second in the poll.

Is there any way to lock the existing poll and add a new one? :) I have a feeling that the votes for Forsett and Betts are about to plummet.

Betts I get since he's done for the year with a knee injury by why Forsett? Also checked, Chris Jennings got 12 carries against the Lions for the disfunctional Browns.
