Just curious who you think will get drafted first among these three should all three be in the same draft.

Coming into the season I thought the answer was definitely Julio Jones, but he's been almost a non-factor this year. I know his QB stinks, but Calvin Johnson had to play with Reggie Ball and he still put up numbers.

Funny, Dez Bryant is destroying it in the poll (currently 27 Dez, 6 Julio, 4 AJ), but almost every poster so far has been talking about Julio.

I'd bet they go Dez/AJ/Julio, in that order, in both NFL and fantasy drafts.

Bryant has far more exposure and has put up better college stats to this point. He is going to win any poll.

I harken back to week one when Bryant and Green faced off. Oklahoma State does NOT have a good pass defense (which will be evident to most of the country in a few hours) but shut Green down for most of the game. I was much higher on Green until that game. Bryant slightly over Julio for me.

So one game when his QB greatly struggled has sealed your opinion of Green? Interesting take. How many other games have you watched of Green's? I recall both WR playing well at times in that game and struggling at times.

Very rarely do I find poll results to be surprising but this one shocks me. All three have a ton of potential and will be playing on Sundays, but AJ Green is friggin' special. We will be hearing about him for a long, long time. As a Gamecock fan that pains me to say that.

I have watched him in other games. Yes, he played well against Arkansas and Arizona State. The issue with Green in that game against OSU was not on Georgia QB Joe Cox, but on Green's ability to get open. It is easy to blame Green's lack of success on the QB, but this is not the case. Georgia was doubling Bryant while OSU was singling Green with a DB that will likely not be a first day pick (Parrish Cox). Which part of the game did you think Green played well? I did not see anything that impressed. My viewpoint of Bryant is more than just the remarkable long TD catch. My biggest worry on Bryant going forward is not the talent or the NCAA issues, it is the injuries. He seems to battle knee injuries often.

It would depend a lot on the combine and their pro days. They've all shown themselves to be playmakers at the college level and pro scouts drool over numbers. That said, I'd say it would be Julio Jones. The guy ran a sub 4.4 coming into college and he's 6'4" 220. He reminds me a lot of Calvin Johnson with regards to his speed and size. If they all came out the same year, I'd expect them all to go top 12 anyway.

(It's all moot though, since Bryant will likely enter this season and Jones and Green will have to wait a year)

The problem is not many people really know how good Green is IMO. This time next year I'm assuming they will.

Cox had S help on any of Green's deep patterns. Green was getting open rather regularly in that game as I recall. He had a dropped ball that could have been a big play or his stat line would have looked much better. Bryant was a total non-factor in that game until late in the 2nd quarter. Georgia got physical with him at the LOS in zone coverage and he clearly didn't handle it well early on. I thought Bryant adjusted to the coverage and played well after the 1st 28 minutes.

Maybe I'm just more local, but Green is fairly well known around here. Of course part of that is that UT shut him down a few weeks back.

I think anyone in SEC country knows about him and Jones very well. Outside of that, I'm not so sure.

Dez Bryant is more explosive than the other 2. He gets my vote.

Granted i'd be happy enough to have any of them.

In addition to that, he's also a better receiver, which definitely helps.

No, he's not. Time will prove that. :goodposting: I'm surprised to see so many are down on Jones. Anyone care to elaborate on the negative feelings toward him?

I think there's a big difference between thinking he's almost-but-not-quite as good as two of the top 10 receivers of the decade and "negative feelings". I think Julio Jones is awesome, and I'd love to see him in a Broncos uniform. I just think Bryant and Green are awesomer.

Big OSU fan here.

I don't know to what extent the same might be true of Green and Jones, but IMO Bryant, while great, will be a TO/Ocho-style headache at times for whoever drafts him. In the game against Georgia, he made numerous atrocious (yes, seriously atrocious) errors, mental, physical, and psychological. If it wasn't for the fact that he made a catch that about a dozen guys who have ever lived could have made that might have been the difference in the game, I would've been pretty ticked off.

Echoing the thoughts of others, all three look really great to me; I don't see a lot separating them physically. Unless/until I see the same kind of baggage attached to Green or Jones, I rank Bryant third.
