Whiskey & Bourbon Chilling Stones (1 Viewer)

I have some similar stones I use for Scotch. Got them on a woot special, 3 packages for $20. The ones you linked seem kinda expensive to me.

I like using the stones but don't expect them to get the whiskey ice cold, they just chill it some. Like you said though, they keep it from getting watered down.

Wife got them for me last Christmas. I was not overly impressed with how cold they made my drinks or how long they lasted.
substitute wife for girlfriend and this would be my exact response.

It's not that big of a deal for me, because I don't really care about them being super cold, but I would not be expecting too much.

I got some of these as a gift. The ones I have are pretty small cubes, say the size of dice.

They work just ok, they lose their "Chill Factor" pretty quickly.

I guess I don't understand some of you. I don't have to have my scotch ice cold, but it tastes better slightly cooled. I pour a couple of fingers add the stones and sip.

I have worried at times about chipping my rocks glass with the rocks, but it hasn't happened yet.

I use my stones a few times a week.

Use them for bourbon. They don't seem to make drinks very cold, but you really don't want bourbon cold so I like them.
