Who are the 3 worst teams in the MLB (1 Viewer)

As of right now, Im going

1. Orioles

2 Giants

3 White Sox

All 3 of these teams are on a major downswing that is likely to continue throughout the year.

You can make the case that the Nationals can improve a bit, as can the Pirates, Royals and D Rays.

The veteran clubs that I named are close to calling it quits.

Well if it's truly irrespective of record the White Sux should not be listed. The talent is there and they have had a lot of injuries but they still have a pretty good team. They just aren't playing that well.

Also wouldn't list the Nationals. They have probably the least talent but they play hard every game and they never give up. I think they are very well managed.

I'd go with the Rangers with their starting pitching and lack of runs. Orioles with the Tejada injury are looking pretty bad and Cincinnati who I am surprised has yet to be mentioned, has the worst record in the league and they are playing like they don't want to be out there. They are very likely to deal Dunn and probably 50/50 to deal Griffey and they probably will lose 100 games.

Reds

Orioles

Rangers

No love for the Astros? They're pretty pathetic. I don't think you can really go wrong with most of the NL central, if not for the unbalanced schedule several of these teams would be staring 100 losses in the face.

I agree with this for the most partYou really aren't paying any attention to MLB (not surprising for a Sawx fan) if you think the Nationals are one of the 3 "worst teams".. they have surprised on pretty much every level this year. The Pirates seem to possibly be heading in the right direction too, even though we all know they'll blow it. But I will agree that the White Sox are aging and fading, and looking at quite a while before they contend again. Ozzie Guillen should probably just go, nothing but a distraction at this point. At this point the Orioles are just sad.

The Orioles made this list because of their 9 game slide. At this point, I can think of more than three teams I'm glad they're not. The Nationals being the first.

Without Upton and Rocco, the Rays are close to joining the list. Trotted out Josh Wilson (a Nats castoff) three straight days.

Giants, Reds, Nationals
I said, A NATS CASTOFF
D-Rays have 2 good starters. Not sure the Nats have any.Braves couldn't hit anybody for a week and they erupted for 22 hits and 13 runs tonight. Maybe they're in a group with a few other teams and playing better than expected, but they're still pretty awful and will likely wind up with the worst record in baseball by the time the year is over. :goodposting:

 alertNationals suck. I don't give a #### if they play hard or not, they suck, and the stats agree with

oh, I dunno. Bergmann when healthy has been pretty damn good. And Shawn Hill was putting up great numbers before hitting the DL, though I don't think he's ever coming off this year.

Rangers are playing good ball right now. I bet they beat the Tigers again today.

Put me down in the Reds camp for worst/most disappointing. Harang and Arroyo have been garbage and they've got nothing after those pillars of strength. Hamilton was a nice story, but he's not going to save them. When David Weathers is your bright spot, you've got issues.

Going with:Reds (to be in last place in the worst division in baseball speaks volumes)Nationals Rangers
WTMF you put the rangers in but no astros. For the love of the silver boot my friend.
Considered the Astros, strongly. But with Pence, Lee, Berkman and Oswalt, they have a very good nucleus. What's killing the Astros is their bullpen. No team can compete with the guys they have running out there to end games. The Rangers have no starting pitching, no bullpen and with Blalock and Tex out, well they are relying on Sammy Sosa and Kenny Lofton to carry the offense.

Harang has a 3.80 ERA, 1.18 whip, 8 wins and 100ks so far this year.Arroyo I agree with, but Harang is solid, especially in fantasy circles.

well yeah, I guess if you're gonna go by STATS, then he's not garbage. But if you go by the number of times i've bet him and LOST, then you might see my side. :lmao:

And yet we still took the Astros series.
