Benching WardStarting BranchWard and Ben need to show mw something this season before I start him. Plus I don't know how balanced the Stillers will be with unproven RB's this week. The NE game this week should be high flying.

Right now I am benching both Benson and Jones. I was going to start Jones but now I'm hearing comments that Benson may get the nod.

Starting F. Taylor, benching W. Dunn and T. Jones.Starting J. Plummer, benching A. Books, and B. Leftwich

I gave the idea of starting LJ a second of thought, but am going with Barlow instead. Barlow has a good matchup against the Rams, while LJ goes against what should be a real tough Jet D

Benson will absolutely not get the nod. After their bye week, sure, but not week 1.

Westbrook over SJax? No love for SJax? I thought SF D was horrible. Did I miss something here?

QB - Trent GreenRB - Duece, Portis, J.Jones (Benching Lamont Jordan and S.Davis)WR - DJax and probally TJ (Benching Rod Smith, David Givens)TE - GatesK - Josh BrownDEF - Redskins (Benching Pats)Also, thinking of Trading Portis and Rod Smith for Holt and Ward... I think it would make my starting lineup strong... and give me better WR depth...

starting dunn over fast willie, maybe. parker's value could well be limited after week 1 but don't want to take a chance of potential over proven performance. is parker a good receiver?

In my Flex spot...

Starting Jordan vs. NE

Benching Steve Smith vs NO
Not sure if I agree with this one either. Jordan is still a ??, but Smith against a suspect NO defense is tough to say no to...

what round did you draft ward?
I took Ward in the 11th in a 14 team salary cap leauge. He is $15 on a $100 cap.

Im considering Willie Parker(If staley doesnt play), over Dominick Davis since DD is playing Buffalo and their O is not doing well right now. I know its a strange thing to do, but i got a gut feeling about Parker this week :banned: eLOT

My tough decision is starting Chad Johnson vs. CLE over Clinton Portis vs. CHI in a TD only league. Tough, tough call, but when you have people like LT, Moss, Owens, Holt also starting....................

Starting Michael ClaytonBenching Darrell JacksonI really like both this year, but I have to go with Clayton just because of the Vikings' offense. The Bucs will have to score a lot to win, so they will be passing.

I have an interesting decision at RB2 in one league between T Jones, W Parker & Droughns this week. I could also go with a 4th WR since it's a flex spot, but probably won't. I'm just waiting to hear how the 3 situations shake out over the next few days before deciding. I'm also leaning heavily toward benching Brooks and starting Griese & Harrington in 2 different leagues.

I have a couple of potential screwup'sDebating between D. Davis vs. BUF or F. Taylor vs. SEAand two of D. Jackson, C. Rogers, or D. Branch to team up with D. Driver

I think I am going to bench Kevin Jones and start Cory Dillon and Mike Anderson.
I have those 3 RB plus Priest! I'm going with Priest and Dillon and feeling sick about KJ and M. Anderson still on the bench

As I read these posts, I realize how different it is for those of us who play in really deep leagues. I am in a 16 team league that starts 4 WRs and WR rec yards are 1/5 instead of 1/10 on rush and RB rec yards (also ppr). You also get 1/20 for return yards.I am debating between Dante Hall, Reche Caldwell, or Brandon Jones. All of the options are bad, but it is fun to have to decide between these guys and when they blow up, it is so much fun.

All of those guys are owned in my 14 teamer too. I had Caldwell starting last year and he was great - till he got hurt. Same for Glenn. All of the WR2 and half of the WR3 are taken.

Right now I have Charles Rogers over Larry Johnson in PPR flex spot but who knows if it'll stay that way.

R. Williams vs. GB over Drew Bennett vs. Pit.

Torn between C. Martin, Willis, D. Mac in another though
I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one thinking about benching Bennett. I'm thinking of starting Moulds @ HOU instead. Of course A Johnson is my #1 so I could have both WRs in the same game, which tends to bug me. And J.P. Losman is scaring the crap out of me as well. Yikes.

Tough choice of rb'sMcCallister vs. Car.Anderson vs. MiamiJordan vs. NEParker vs. Tenn.I'm probably going McCallister and Parker

Another Willie Parker decision.Thinking about Wille Parker vs. Tennessee over Edge at Baltimore.I know. Never bench your studs...I'll wait and see if Bettis and Staley are both out and even then, I don't know if I have the kahones to do it.

In my flex spot, I'm debatibg between Parker, LJ, M. Moore, and T. Jones.......... I am starting EDGE and WESTBROOK for sure. Leaning towards parker because he has the best matchup. It sucks having that depth at flex rb........

I have to choose between Boldin and D. Driver, my other is C. Johnson. I still haven't decided.

LOOK NO FURTHER, START DRIVER CHECK OUT WHAT HE DID AGAINST DETROIT LAST YEAR ;)

STARTING DRIVER OVER CLAYTON

Here's another one.

Driver at Detroit or Horn at NYG Monday (early) night.

I'm leaning towards Horn but I expect to go back and forth on this one.

I'm starting Griese vs Minnesota over Vick. I'm leaning towards starting Travis Taylor over Stallworth and Lee Evans at WR #3.

Joe Horn and the Saints are at Carolina week 1.
