Going for Calvin Johnson in all my leagues. Look for him to start having a lot more snaps after their bye as the criticism of his use mounts in Detroit.
Would not be surprised if the 2nd half of the year if he has Top 15 WR stats.

Tomlinson just got put on the block in my dynasty...the team he is on also has Steven Jackson and Palmer, but absolutely nothing else. Thinking about offering Bush and Steve Smith, maybe another decent reciever, and shoot for the title this year.

I've been pretty lucky to trade for Westbrook and AD the past two weeks. I'll try to ship Portis and a combination of wideouts for either Gates or a stud wideout.

I'm trying to deal Jones-Drew after this week. After refusing to listen this offseason, it's obvious Fred Taylor is going to get his. Got to see the Jags this weekend, hopefully the other guys don't realize Jones-Drew got his carries because Taylor was out.
He just won't get enough carries to be a consistent option. I'd rather pay less for a RB guaranteed work ....with less hype.

i've been trying to get maroney for the past couple weeks as a buy low. after yesterday, i think the price just went up. more than i'm willing to spend anyway

Taylor sat out the 2nd half.Believe me, I'd love to believe Jones-Drew was going to be consistent. He's been useless 3 weeks this year. Just not consistent enough for me.
To each his own. I'm selling high. Already own Addai, Brown and All Day, so he's not getting used. Good problem to have I guess.

Just put two trade offers in:
1. Get Addai for Gates and Travis Henry/Selvin Young -- I don't expect that to be accepted. He record 3-3.
2. Get LJ and Jeff King for Gates and Travis Henry/Selvin Young -- this could be accepted since he is 0-6 and in last place.
I am also 2-4 so I am looking to shake things up. I realize in the second trade I am banking on LJ, but I have Sjax and I am banking on him coming back and hoping for those two in the backfield going nuts together. I don't see myself making the playoffs in this 14 team league, so I am throwing up a Hail Mary here.

That would be a sweet deal for you, I would be surprised if he did that. I Dont think I would give up AD at all right now.
He deep at RB and needs WR help. He's "seriously thinking about it". Hopefully it goes through.

Just traded Norwood and Curtis for a 1st that may very well end up being McFadden/Stewart. Going after a weak 2-3 team while he was still optimistic. Buy low. Last year, the top pick cost me L.Evans + two 1st round picks.

I can understand how he'd seriously be thinking about it... I traded ADP straight up for Chad Johnson about a week ago (which I proposed) in a local redraft league.RJS113 said:

Speculation move, but just offered up Olsen to the Heap owner for M. Bennett. Acquired Olsen in a trade last week and would never play for me. As for Bennett??????
Dealt Shockey and Crayton for Harrison last week in an auction redraft. I still have Cooley.
Trying to pick up Edge everywhere I can in redrafts and Maroney in dynasty leagues. In a redraft I got Edge for Jamal Lewis, Pittman, and Stecker a few weeks ago. This was right after Caddy and Deuce got hurt when Pittman was being hyped, Stecker was in line for serious work, and Jamal was still close to his big game. Caveat Emptor.
I think with all the hype on ADP if you can sell him as the RB2 I'd deal him simply because of his injury risk. He'll come back to earth soon enough likely against Dallas this week. He strikes me as a sell high atm but I couldn't blame someone for holding ... just be warned my gut says he'll hit a wall (named Roy Williams).
I'd still sell SJax in a redraft per my thread last week I don't see him coming back soon and isn't a given to be a top flight RB1 when he does. I got LJ for SJax and Graham last week (in the same league I got Edge).

Without knowing your scoring system I don't think many owners will give up their RB1 for Gates and the Bronco mess. Why not follow my trade strategy below and offer SJax for LJ and keep Gates? Assuming it's not a dynasty.

It's not a dynasty, but I really don't think he would take that either. I am thinking of offering up Sjax for something of even lesser value, otherwise I will be out of it before the time Sjax comes back.

Trying to land Boldin, but his owner won't budge right now. Looking to unload Portis/Betts--Clinton was looking gimpy again @ GB, that o-line is a mess & he's not getting enough red zone looks for my liking. Not sure what others are seeing in trying to acquire Portis...

Traded Heap and C Benson for D Branch and H Miller
Trade 2:
Traded L Maroney, Roy Williams and Jacobey Jones for C Buckhalter, TO and Calvin Johnson
Trade 3:
Traded Kevin Jones, Calvin Johnson, M Colston and a 2nd rounder next year (keep up to 2 in this league drafted in Rds 6-22) for Edge, Chad Johnson, J Lewis and a 7th rounder
Trade 4:
Traded B Westbrook and C Buckhalter for F Gore, M Hicks and Marvin Harrison
Anyway, Im trying hard to land LT and FWP. FWP owner needs a number 1 WR and a back in return. Im thinking of offering TO and Lewis/Wright. Then I would offer Gore and Edge plus a WR for LT.
Thats probably more then anyone wanted to know but I am constantly trying to make my team better. I dont care about making other peoples teams better as well as long as I improve my squad.

Just dealt Thomas Jones for Steven Jackson (redraft). I picked up Leonard a few weeks back, so now I'll have the Rams RB one way or another. Didn't have Washington, which made me a little nervous, and it's ppr for RB's too (Jones loses looks in the passing game to Leon). Jets also play @ NE wk15, which doesn't look like a good matchup for TJones (wk15 is 1st week of our playoffs). Rams get GB and PIT, but both are at home and I'll take my chances.
He was 2-4, I'm 4-2 so I could afford to make a move that could payoff down the road. Still have Westbrook and Portis to carry me (along with Leonard) until SJax returns.

Good move for you ... he should be back and in the fantasy playoffs likely outproduce TJ. SJax to me is both a buy low and a sell high opportunity depending on your situation. Part of that is that I am not a TJ fan knowing that the team is subpar and Washington is around to split production with combined in your situation with record, depth, and owning Leonard. For the record I would never even dream of trading away Larry Johnson (who I picked up for SJax) for Thomas Jones which may help others pair up the value of the players discussed.
