regardless of whom you are voting for, I am glad to have a thread where voters of all the candidates can post their choice w/o ridicule.
Says you, uninformed ########.

I normally vote libertarian in the "big races", though I did vote for Gillibrand for senate.  Will vote either D or R (or 3rd party or write-in) downballot in individual races at my discretion.  Won't be voting for any R's this time around though.
That's a good point.  The entire Republican party has become so stained by their embrace of Trump, it may quite literally be years before I consider pulling that level in just about any election.  It's had that much of an impact on me.  going to be a LOT of 3rd party votes for me in the future when the Dem on the ticket is someone I can't live with.  I could name 6-12 local folks I'd normally have supported (some not in my districts so support was other than voting), and some of them I actually like as people and who have been decent enough in their elected capacity... but their support for Trump and his ethos has me thinking I'll never support them again, not politically by vote nor donation.

I think 80% of Gary's entire vote total for this election is within the confines of the FFA.

Hillary, and proud to do so.    I think she's a great American, and is going to be a fantastic president.

J/k.   I've never been so concerned that my candidate might lose, nor so apathetic about voting for her.     Ugh.  What a combo.  Would any of the major party candidates in the last thirty years lose head to head with either of these two?   I think even Dukakis takes them both.  If W could run for a third term he'd probably lose.

I have to agree that Johnson getting 20% here is surprising as most of what I have been hearing is that it isn't likely he gets the 5% he is hoping for.  A full third of the community is saying they are voting for anybody but Clinton or Trump.

First time not voting in 30 years. Voted for Bush and felt stupid after 8 years of lies and bombs. Voted for Obama thinking at least he wouldn't bomb countries in the M.E. and felt like he totally lied to us. How he got a Peace prize is a mystery to me. Afghanistan enjoying the highest output and export of heroin ever. I refuse to vote for more of the same. All these crooks work for the devil as far as I'm concerned.
So Obama wasn't supposed to fight ISIS.

And heroin...really, dude?

Isis was funded with weapons stolen from Libya to pick a fight with Syria for an Exxon oil pipeline.. Believe what you want but heroin production has skyrocketed since we have been there. It's really cheap and plentiful in NY now.

Those are your opinions of a Trump presidency. Maybe not everyone agrees. And we don't need more of the same in the Middle East. It's a mess of our doing. Maybe Trump would tell the ME countries to take care of their own business while we focus on our own here at home. Hillary will continue our history of meddling in other countries affairs.
Not just my beliefs. Economists predict a significant short-term stock market correction and even more economists debunk claims that his policy will be good for the country. His attack on the fabric of the democracy is also fact--out of his very mouth comes that the election is rigged, that he will maybe or maybe not accept the results of the election. And he talks not of letting Middle East countries take care of themselves but instead of bombing the heck out of them. Oh, and he is a sociopathic narcissist, so there's that.

Anyone who concedes that he is not able to regulate himself on Twitter and so needs a fake account so that his tweets never leave his device should also concede that electing a man like that as president is complete idiocy. I feel silly having to even point this out.

I didn't make that twitter comment and anyone who thinks they could predict what a Trump presidency would be like is clueless. No one knows. It's all opinion. More than likely he would get next to nothing accomplished.

There's more of that critical thinking you love to spew about!

This is how you convinced yourself?  No one knows so what the hell?

Nope. I'm not supporting Trump. I'll vote for him only because I don't think there's a chance he'll take NY and it's a vote directly against Hillary. If I was living in a swing state, I would probably leave it blank.

Why not vote third party?

Why not vote third party?
Unlike some people, I don't have a problem with people that vote 3rd party. I was considering Johnson for a while and might have voted McMullin if he was on the ticket here in NY (he's not even available as a write-in) but mostly because I feel that a vote for Trump is the most direct anti-Hillary vote possible. It's a harmless vote here in NY and probably overall too since I think she's going to win. I don't want to have my vote, in any way, to help her win.

McMullin is a write-in candidate in NY.  First person listed on page 2 of this official PDF from the state elections board - https://www.elections.ny.gov/NYSBOE/download/law/OfficialPresidentialWrite-Ins2016.pdf

Voted Hilldog.  First time in 5 Presidential elections that I voted for a major party (voted Libertarian, then Green), but Hillary, the US of A, and the rest of civilization as we know it needs as many Hillary votes as possible.

PA - Holding my nose for CrookedHillary.
same; I'm going to be relieved and a little ashamed of myself on Wednesday morning.  A year ago, if you'd have told me I'd be voting for Hillary, I'd have laughed in your face.  Can't cast any vote that might help Trump, though.

If your NY vote is so meaningless that you're voting for Trump, why would it be "helping her win" if you voted for Hillary?

You say anyone who thinks they can predict a Trump presidency is clueless, and then 7 words later you predict a Trump presidency.

Embarrassed for you NCC.  You are better than this.
I'm embarrassed for the 4-5 Hillary supporters on here (you know who you are) who can't admit that Hillary is a terrible candidate herself. You should be better than that but you refuse to be. I get voting for someone to keep Trump out of office but there is no reason to be excited to vote for Hillary at all. Denial, Egyptian river, and all that.

If it wasn't for her idiotic handling of emails she'd be no worse of a candidate than Gore or Kerry.

I was feeling generous and wanted to get Hillary something nice for her birthday.

Early voted to MAGA.

He proved he's better than this by not voting for either.  And #### off telling him how he should vote.  Some of us said long ago (read before Trump was the nominee) that we'd never vote for Hillary.

Some bar you've set there...
I know, just pointing out that she's not much worse than other lousy candidates Democrats have nominated.

After Hillary I think the 2024 election is Cory Booker's to lose.  Next 8 years won't be fun but things will get better.

You think Kaine will win re-election?

The wife and I early voted for Trump.

For me it came down to one thing, who will put America #1 and do what's best for America, and not someone on a power trip. Hillary has shown time and time again that it's all about her and her rise to power.

Horrible choices no matter what, but when I boiled it down to that one thing, it was easy.
