Who are your top trade targets RBs for the playoffs (14-16)? (1 Viewer)

I have an awesome team with the exception of Lesean McCoy. Who'd a thought that? But there it is. I'm looking to target a running back for the playoffs run. Wondering who would be an ideal target? I'm not thinking guys like Bell or Murray, more along the lines of somebody who is realistically available and represtents good value and will perform (easy schedule for instance).

I like

Ellington

Ryan Mathews

Sjax

Fjax

Who else you got?

I'll post what I put in there. Rashad Jennings. Should get all the carries, team is much improved and he was already borderline RB1, catches a lot of balls, has a good week 14-16 schedule, and the best part ---- he's cheap. Should be high RB2 or low RB1 for the ROS and won't cost you that due to his injury. Now it would have been nice to trade for him a few weeks ago, he's coming back this week (most likely) so his cost could have went up.

Agree on Jennings but would also add waiver wire pickup L. Murray OAK......cheap....if you have room has to be better than MJD and why keep running DMac out there,,,,,youth movement hopefully.....DMAc due for an injury as well

If you have a spot on the bench, maybe but hard to rely on a lottery ticket for the playoffs.

Monte Ball - someone may be tired of him on their pine, or in a 10-teamer, he could still be on a waiver wire, depending on roster limits. With Hillman opening the door via his injury, Ball could walk right back into the spotlight on a team that lives in the red zone.

Shane Vereen - after his blow-up game two weeks ago, he's been marginal since. And dinged going into his bye week. Someone may have soured on this PPR bellcow. He plays two defenses in Week 14 (SD) and 15 (MIA) that are middle-of-the-pack against the run. Moreover, they should be games where NE has to score some points, and its those games where Vereen thrives.

Steven Jackson - I know, I know. But coming off two games where he has had double-digit carries, it still tells me he is the bellcow in the ATL backfield. And he is THE guy for them at the goalline. With this division up for grabs, the Falcons will still be playing meaningful games down the stretch. And with decent matchups @GB (18th most generous to fantasy RBS), PIT (12th), and @NO (19th), you could do worse than an RB who will likely get you 60-80 yards and TD.

Perfect. Ball might be a good one. Also like Vereen as a mention. Vereen is nice especially in PPR because you know he's going to get some targets.

mccoy and jennings. I wouldnt target mathews since his schedule is brutal at the end and the chargers oline is really bad, i have him on my bench and planning on trading him after the rams game. I would keep a close eye on tre mason, trying to trade for him right now, his schedule since he came onto the scene has been insanely hard but he is going into a nice stretch of soft matchups to finish the season, including championship week against that horrible giants run defense, he could easily pull a denard robinson and they are starting to throw to him.

Honestly in our league it is SO freakin' thin it will be really hard to get any of the guys mentioned. Even Murray from Oakland has been picked up. It will be a feeding frenzy for CJ Anderson tonight on the wire even though Ball is coming back. Anybody with a pulse is stockpiled. Nobody has exceptional depth and with 2RB's and a flex starting it's hard to make a move. I traded Gates away to get Andre Williams 5 weeks ago. That may be the only RB trade in our league this year.

McCoy? No thanks. His usage stinks.
