Who did you take instead of A-Rod (1 Viewer)

I took Santana in the #3 spot - haven't been thrilled but have had enough power so far to remain in good shape. I think A-Rod went #6 in our league - Pujols, Reyes, Santana, Soriano and Crawford went before him. I know its early but right now he is a steal at #6 - plus its a keeper league so I could have locked him up for 2 more years - thought best pitcher would be a better way to go----doh!

Anyone else 2nd guessing out there?

Took Soriano #2 and I am regretting it. Currently 2-1 and my pitching has carried me so far, but I just traded for Crawford and Jeter last week so my offense is definitely much improved.

Missing out on both Reyes (who I was debating taking very strongly) as well as A-Rod is tough to swallow at this point.

Gotta be tough watching A Rod after passing on him for Soriano so far - I think Soriano will turn it on but he has a long way to go!

Wonder how the Pujols, Reyes, Santana drafters are feeling....but Soriano is definitely the worst thus far!

Pujols  I hate picking #1 in anything, I couldn't not take him though.
Me too. I seriously did think about taking A-Rod #1 overall but figured, if nothing else, Pujols would have a higher trade value. :wall: I'm lucky enough that I'm actually in first place right now though even with Pujols playing so poorly. When he comes around I should be in great shape.

I had the #3 pick and I took Reyes over April-Rod.

Reyes is far from a slouch but that decision is not looking good right now. Let's see how long Arod can keep this up.

I got A-Rod at #6 :bag:

I have had a nice run my first 3 years of fantasy baseball.

Year 1 1st pick Pujols

Year 2 2nd pick Pujols

Year 3 6th pick A-Rod

After last night Santana continues his early season batting practice - if he doesn't do his usual turnaround I will be kicking myself all season as I agonized over A-Rod/Santana at the #3 spot! Had a feeling A-Rod was going to bust out - to cap it all off watch him leave NY and play SS somewhere next year making him even more valuable!

Why would he be more valuable playing somewhere else? I understand that a move to SS may increase his value but batting in that Yankees lineup trumps a position change in my mind. He's a great hitter on a great hitting team. You can't ask for a better situation.....

League #1; Stole AROD @ 7 ( keeper league - first draft)

League #2: Took Pujols #1 (wish I had the stones to take AROD there)

If I recall - A-Rod's #s at SS when he was in Tx or Sea made him way more valuable than being a 3B for the Yanks. Even off the down year I would have drafted him #2 no question if he was SS eligible.

Another lousy outing by Santana - thank goodness April is over - hope he goes on his usual tear soon or I am going to get ill for pasing on A Rod!

Took Santana at the four slot. I had Garrett Atkins as a keeper, so A-Rod was not a practical pick for me.
