Let's get a couple of lists going, along with all the fun speculation as to 'why'...

Traded:

McNabb

DeAngelo Williams

Cut:

LT

Westbrook

Marion Barber may be traded or released.

Brandon Marshall/Boldin will be dangled as trade bait.

Vick will be released.

R. Bush gets traded or cut, as hes do 8 million if I'm not mistaking.

He has Seattle written all over him.

It is tough to say that Donald Driver could be cut, but it is also tough to say he is worth $6.1m in 2010.

I do think they will probably keep him. GB can afford it and he's a fan favorite, but he faded badly at the end of this season. James Jones will also be in the last year of his contract, he may want to get out of town after 4 years of not starting.

Browns will dump Braylon, Winslow, and Jamaal Lewis. :goodposting:

(I can't see them keeping D Anderson, either.)

BTW, there is local speculation that Shaun Rogers could go.

Not sure if I see them moving Winslow. Why do you think they'll trade/cut him?

Cut- LT, TO, Marion Barber, Willie Parker, Larry Johnson, Roy Williams, Bernard Berrian
Pretty sure LJ and TO were on 1 yr deals anyway... they are FA's. I expect Barber to be cut. Roy Williams is wayyyy to expensive to even dream about cutting plus they gave up like 3 1st rounders. Parker is a good choice as well.

I for one would love to keep Reggie.

And I still don't get why people think Carolina would trade Deangelo. That would be a huge mistake for that team.

I keep telling my buddies at work that Carolina will trade Dwilly to the Chargers for a first round pick.

If your the Chargers, any reason you wouldn't do this deal?

If your Carolina, you plug in Stewart and roollll on. Pick a back in the draft to replace DWill (or one of the many free agent backs).

this will never happen. in fact, if nfl teams were in the business of giving players pay RAISES during contract, driver would be one of those guys. and the statement that he faded badly towards the end of the season must be based purely on on stats, because if you watched the games, youd know he didnt stop making big plays for the pack from the beginning of the season til the end.

;) Stewart is a great talent, but the guy hasn't been able to stay healthy with part time duty, why take that huge risk.
I hear this everywhere but I have yet seen him miss a game due to injury.I think that would be a great trade for both teams.
I'm not a Jonathan Stewart expert, but I base this on these observations:1. It seems IIRC that this year he was on the injury report every week in the second half, and often did not practice.2. His past two seasons are littered with wide fluctuation in carries. They guy is a beast, everyone seems to acknowledge that. Then why did he carry the ball less than 10 carries 5 times this season, and less than 15 carries ten times. Was it just DWill? Last year as well, look at the game logs. 15 carries for 130 one week, 9 carries the next two weeks combined. 34 carries in weeks 4&5, and then 6 carries in week six.Based on this it looks like he hasn't suffered a major injury, but enough that he misses significant time. And then the last game of this year he re-injured is Achilles, which he already had operated on.

The only place williams is going is 5-7 yards behind whoever the QB in Carolina is next year. Carolina is in win now mode (despite what it may have looked like).

CUT

Clinton Portis, Bob Sanders, Matt Hasselbeck ( might be a reach but he's finished, washed up), Marc Bulger, JaMarcus Russell, Antonio Pierce, T.O., Roy Williams, Brandon Jacobs

traded:

Osi, Michael Bush, Vick ( Seattle?)

Is this the thread where people just make totally random claims? :lmao:

Cause some of these are pretty bad and half the names listed are free agents anyway.

I agree that he's probably staying, even though as a Deangelo owner I was hoping for a trade to SD. But I agree, Carolina could win now. They could really use a #2 WR like Boldin though. I think Boldin would be such a good fit for this team, but I don't see it happening.

Marion Barber. He probably has more value to the Cowboys than any other team, he won't get much on the trade market, and if it's uncapped, then they can afford him.

But... I can see Jerry forcing Wade and Co. into making the right move in starting Felix, by removing their buddy Barber from being an obstacle.
