Who do you want your team to draft? (1 Viewer)

Bengals- Newton or Green.

Peterson is amazing and I haven't ruled out Fairley, but its time to start over on the offensive side of the ball. This is not a playoff caliber team in 2011 so you might as well pull off the bandaid and start over with Newton or grab Green if you happen to prefer a QB you can get later.

Lots of people are saying that Newton is a risk, but the Bengals are in a position where they need to take a risk if given that oppurtunity.

I like Harris the CB from Miami, the other Pouncey, Cam Heyward would work well with Ziggy for years, even Kyle Ruldolph as he eventual replacement for an aging Heath Miller, Jimmy Smith, Aaron Williams(out of pure need).

Who I think they take...Stephen Paea, DL, Oregon St.

Vikings - Locker

Hopefully they trade down but even if they can't, just take him and start the rebuild.

Patriots

At 17 - Aldon Smith or JJ Watt. I figure they can (and should) wait to get an offensive lineman at 28.

At 28 - whichever of the top o-linemen are still available.

At 33 - I want them to trade out of the pick where they can get a high pick in the 2012 draft (as they only have 5 picks for 2012 at this time). I think some team might be hard up enough for someone to trade their 2012 1st round pick and, say, a 2011 2nd or 3rd.

Lions-I'd love to see Fairley fall to them and pair up with Suh to become arguably the best DT combo in the league for years to come. If not him, then I'd like to see Julio Jones fall there and push Burleson to the #3 role where he'd excel and possibly make the offense as explosive as any in the league. If they trade up, I'd like to see Marcel Dareus, A.J. Green or Patrick Peterson. If they trade down, I'd prefer Jimmy Smith or Gabe Camiri.

While I wouldn't call myself a Bills fan, I'd like to see them be good again since, like Detroit, they've been pretty irrelevant for over a decade. I'd be interested in seeing Cam Newton in Chan Gailey's offense.

Pretty good list, but I don't agree with getting a TE at all. Heath is only 28, not time to start trying to replace him yet.

I like the lions trading and picking up the Pouncey at the 16 spot.

The bills i think would go Gabbert for a QB less of a risk but with QB there are always risks.

I doubt they do TE, but considering our WRs are on the small side, and the only big WR left at the end of round 1 is Baldwin, and the steelers wont take attitude guys, another big option in the passing game is why I thought about him. He can block too. Heath is still a top TE. I think they would either trade up to get the CB or OL or DL they want, or trade down to get more pick than take Kyle though.

Vikings - LockerHopefully they trade down but even if they can't, just take him and start the rebuild.
:hifive: I thought I was the only one that wanted Locker to the Vikes. If not him, an offensive tackle.
Yup, I'm with you Andy. And I'm not even convinced he'll be the right guy. I'm just ready to make the jump and hope. Agree that OL is the correct plan b. The DE group in the 12 range scares me. Too many bustable guys like Bowers.

Pats

17: Aldon Smith

28: Muhammed Wilkerson

33: Randall Cobb

58: (or whatever number the pick is) Stefan Wiesnewski

Vikings 3rd: DeMarco Murrey

Pats 3rd: Johnny Patrick

Cowboys:

OT round 1

CB or S round 2

DT or DE round 3

Trade down Jerry and get more picks to fill the holes plzzzzz

As a Viking fan, I will support whomever they draft but also think taking a QB in the first round will be a mistake. I am in total agreement with Greg Gabriel from the nationalfootballpost.com.

I feel that there is only one legitimate first-round quarterback this year and that is Cam Newton. While he is far from a finished product he is a competitor and playmaker on the field. Personally I wouldn't draft him high in the first round because of his character concerns but I do understand his talent. I feel all the other quarterbacks that are mentioned as possible first-round players (Gabbert, Locker, Dalton, Ponder) are being vastly overrated. They all have flaws and aren't nearly as good as many first-round quarterbacks in the past. I have no problem taking these players in the second or third round because that's where they belong, but not in the first. If in fact this happens, I feel teams are manufacturing a player and it can lead to problems and they are also passing on a potentially better player. If these quarterbacks get overdrafted and taken in the first round, and turn out to be a poor pick, you could see some decision makers looking for new jobs in two to three years. Draft them where there talent says they should be drafted, don't panic and overrate them because of need.
http://www.nationalf...ake-Locker.htmlI would be fine with Kaepernick or Locker in the second round. Locker might have more talent but Kaepernick seems more intelligent and coachable. My worst fear is the Vikings giving up a first in next years draft to move back into the first to get a QB.

Vikings - QB Locker.

Only I don't want the Vikings to take Locker at 12. I either want them to move down into the later teens (get an extra pick to accelerate the rebuild a bit) or move up into the early/mid 20s from the second round. I'm not sold that he's the answer either. But I'm not sold that ANY QB in the 2011 draft is the answer...and the Vikings won't likely stink badly enough to get one of next year's top two.

Either that, or draft the best O-Lineman or a stud DT to replace Pat Williams (if one magically fell). The Vikings have a ton of needs for a team that was in the NFC Championship game just 15-16 months ago...so just get one really good player to fill one of them, then do what you can do in free agency, trades and the rest of the draft.

I actually want the Titans to draft Gabbert, I'm on the train. Hopefully he will fall in their lap.
I'm okay with Gabbert, but only if they don't have to trade up for him. I'd rather have Dalton in the 2nd or Stanzi later and Robert Quinn at 1.08

put your team and player you want drafted.

Browns-AJ Green

Eagles- Akeem Ayers

Here is my first round mock draft

Also, checked out your site....Couple question, you have a webpage devoted to being and arena fanatic and it appears you have not been to a bunch of arenas or stadiums... and if you have, they were in the southeast, is this correct or is a lot of your stuff unfinished? Cuz i have interest in checking it out, but not much content.

Eagles

CB - Peterson, Prince (trade required)

OT - Nate Solder (possible slight trade up required)

OT - Derek Sherrod

DE - Da'Quan Bowers, Cameron Jordan (possible slight trade up required)

Titans - trade up to 1.05 get Peterson, otherwise take Fairley

Steelers - trade pick to QB starved team from early second round that didn't get "their guy" in the early first

x2If it came down to it and they ended up taking Newton, I wouldn't be devastated, but he had BETTER pan out if they do take him. And they had better take him because they think he'll be a great NFL QB, not because he'd be a good "fit" for Chan Gailey. You don't draft players that high to fit in a specific coach's system because you never know how long that coach will be around IMO.

Yea i have been to many more then what i have on the site. I started the site in Jan. Ive been to the all the Cleveland teams. Browns, Indians, and Cavs. Also Cleveland State where i used to go to school. NCAA basketball UC bearcats, Wright State, Dayton, Miami OH, and Butler. MLB Atlanta, Tampa, and Cincy. NBA Pacers. College football Penn State and Kent State.

I dont want to do reviews on places ive been before the start of the site. For the fact that i wasnt looking for certian things or walking around campuses or citys as much.

Join the facebook page if you have it and ill keep ya posted on whats going on.

The Lions are getting closer to being relevant. Although both of those choices would be good I'm in the camp that we needhelp on the O-line. I'd be happy with anyone that can protect one of Stafford's shoulders. Smith, Solder or Castonzo would be a good draft for me. If not that I'll be praying for Akamura or Peterson to fall so we can snag a good CB. Thankfully, I don't think that the Lions can screw this one up.

Texans: a pass rusher & a DB that can cover. I don't care who, just as long as they can make an impact right away. I'm sick of "project" players and high upside picks that our coaching staff never seems to develop or get the most out of.

We need another pick like Cushing, sans the roids.

Those are my thoughts too. Dareus is much higher for me than the rest. And I would have Peterson 3a and Newton 3b. But man it kills me to say that. I REALLY hate Newton.

Stillers: Ras-I Dowling

Ideally they trade down 10 or so picks because that's more the range he's projected to go, but I want Dowling over Aaron Williams or Brandon Harris. I dont see OL value at 31, but DL wouldnt be bad.

I just hope they dont trade up for Mike Pouncey. It'll cost way too much.

If lokcer is there for Seattle i think they take him. With the USC connection playing a factor.
Locker played at UW
Steve Sarkisian was the QB coach at USC for a few years and was also the O cord at USC. He now coaches at UW. Pete Carrol is now the coach at Seattle.
Conspiracy theorists rock.
You could continue that line of thinking and have the Seahawks taking Kevin Bacon.

Panthers fan here - want to see them trade out of the #1 for more picks down the line...if they can't pull off a deal, I want to see them take AJ Green. Claussen could use one more year for us to be certain he is not our guy & I really like our chances of drafting high again next year - - Welcome aboard Mr. Andrew Luck
