In 2011, Harvin was 52-345-2. In 2012, he had 22-96-1 in a half season.
As a rookie, Patterson was 12-158-3, but 10-156-3 in the last 5 games (which would prorate to about 32-500-10). Obviously unsustainable, but he could still put up huge rushing numbers even at an inevitably reduced clip (averaging 34 yards per carry in 2014
) and without such torrid, incendiary TD production. He now has 7 TDs in the last six games (4 rushing, 3 receiving).
* If Patterson has 243 more yards (and 1 more TD) in the remaining 15 games, he will tie Harvin's career high, which is "only" 16+ yards per game. In his last six games, he has had 27, 6, 15, 54, 54 and 102. Though, Harvin also could break his record this year, his 4-41 would prorate to 64-656 and shatter his previous yardage mark (the longer, more explosive runs and TDs should come once he knocks some rust off).
