Who is Giants acting OC? (1 Viewer)

yes.And after the giants lose to the eagles, Coughlin will blame gilbride for the loss and fire him too.
thanksI hope Coughlin's agent is calling teams for a job for him. Aside from the general sports talk that he might be done, the OC abandonning ship before the playoffs...doesn't look good for him.

You guys are a little bit misinformed here. Hufnagle was doing a terrible job and Coughlin relieved him of his duties and Hufnagle just ended up quitting.Coughlin knows what he is doing, he just doesn't relate well to his team. Personally, when I hear Coughlin speak he impresses me more than any coach I have ever heard speak. He remembers every play and what their thought process was and is VERY candid. I think the Giants should find players who want to play for a solid coach and stop getting guys like Plaxico. Most people also don't know that the majority of Tiki's comments last year and this were directed at Hufnagle not Coughlin. Tiki was frustrated as were Giant fans that they keep throwing even though their OL is TERRIBLE at pass blocking yet are a good run blocking line. They are all basically McKenzies...

Coughlin is a tool who has taken to blaming everyone but himself for his team's struggles. He threw Eli under the bus a month or so ago, then did the same to Hufangle two weeks ago. He'll come up with yet another weak excuse after this week's loss, and then he'll be fired, and he'll blame someone else for that too.

They need to get rid of Coughline to get any value out of Eli.

He needs coaches that can teach.

No I'm not misinformed here but thanks.BBI/Giants.com
Head Coach Tom Coughlin informed the media yesterday that John Hufnagel, who was removed as offensive coordinator of the team last week, is no longer a member of the coaching staff. "It was just that we worked together on last week and then John felt it was best for him to move on," said Coughlin.
Coughlin took away his OC duties and he decided to quit. Coughlin treats grown men like little kids sometimes and it's uncalled for or a bit much. Taking away his OC duties but he's still allowed to be on staff? Cmon. IMO it's good of Hufnagel to stay and go over tapes from the previous game.Coughlin was rumorred to go to Cincy when Lewis did. There's a few articles on the players reaction to that rumor. Plenty from Giants and Jags as well, of course.Coughlin wins a good amount of games. One of the best RBs of this era and a HOF DE surely make his life easier at times, but as a coach he's very good. As a manager of people, he is still too gruff.
