Who is the #1 WR in Dallas? (1 Viewer)

Dallas homers, please enlighten me as to what's been going in the Dallas WR corps, specifically between Miles and Roy. Is Miles slowing down because he's the focal point of the D? Or is Roy still drawing the opposition's #1 corner? THANKS!

From everything I've read, the Eagles double teamed Miles. While he wasn't able to overcome it, to me it speaks volumes about which guy defenses respect more.

the packers had a double on Austin all game but they also used woodson alot singled up on Witten.

It also means neither WR is good enough to beat double teams or the D's best corner. Roy has been better since the coverage shifted to Miles.

Right now Roy tends to draw the best corner, while Austin is getting the other corner and getting additional safety attention on a lot of plays.

What does it say?
That defenses fear Austin more, probably due to his after-the-catch skills vis-a-vis the sluggish Williams.
Or maybe it says that defenses know they can contain the Dallas passing game by doubling Austin.

Or both.

Last week the Packers put their #1 Corner (Woodson) on Witten. Witten wasn't a factor at all until the game was decided. Al Harris spent most of his time on Miles Austin and the #3 Corner Tramon Williams spent most of his time covering Williams.

That said, Roy Williams looked decent last week. He had one pretty big drop, and didn't get the TD until the game was already decided. I think Roy might actually be a fairly solid #3 WR going forward. He's caught 10 passes for 180/1 in the last two weeks. Its think its pretty likely that teams will continue to roll their coverage towards Witten and Austin.

Anyone have the # of targets for Miles and Williams the last 2 weeks? Just curious...

Miles should have had a TD on the first drive vs Green Bay this past Sunday...but Romo let another pass sail high on him(like he has a propensity to do)...and Miles mistimed his jump to go up and get it...but the play could have easily been a 30 yd TD pass.

As a Romo owner, I know he's not in the elite category for fantasy QBs, but I'm liking him going forward...he has 3 pretty good options to throw to in Miles, Witten, and Williams...not counting Felix Jones/Tashard Choice as receiving backs out of the backfield and also Crayton in the slot.

Not counting Marion Barber as their best receiver out of the backfield. Felix has 6 career catches.

As a Packers fan, I was thrilled on that play. As an Austin owner, my heart sank because that was an easy TD if Romo had thrown a better ball. That was the only time in the game where Austin was wide-### open and Romo threw a terrible pass.
