Hey Norris. Continued thanks for keeping this going. Being I'm in IDP dynasties, I'd like this to linger for about 40 picks!

On that note, I went Caldwell here, but a team needing IDP help could certainly be choosing between Rivers and Connor depending on situation and Bloom has endorsed Curtis Lofton as the top IDP. I think we should have a choice soon since the offensive selections get watered down by options.

Thanks for the kind words and your interest Chaos.Yeah if youre really interested in keeping this poll going please reply to it (thanks big country). We only had 25 votes before I had to bump it and I was seriously thinking of pulling the plug.

I think some IDP's would have already come off the board. I think, in most dynasty leagues, you will see a LB picked at the tail of the first round and certainly by this point. So, I went defense here.

BTW - I also appreciate this subject NorrisB.

for most IDP leagues, I agree. But this is the shark pool where IDPs don't exist. :confused:I happen to have the 2.12 (24th pick) in a league where IDPs don't count for piddly, and if these players were all available, I'd probably take Nelson. So I voted that way.

I like Gholston here
why Gholston over Long? Long seems to be a player we can count on to be a productive player for a long time. Gholston has top notch potential, but I'm fairly certain I'd take Long over Gholston in both the NFL and FF drafts.

Situation is a big deal with DE's IMHO. Gholston would look very different as an IDP prospect with Cincy than he would with Washington or KC, for example.

How so?

KC's a bad example. Would he even get on the field? zero chance of him going there.

O-lines can only double team one defender (assuming they're rushing four) without taking a potential receiver out of a route. It's a huge help for one pass rusher to have another good pass rusher on the line with him to divert attention. And of course scheme comes very much into play as well.
