After Monday Night Football, seven teams will be undefeated. Who's the best?

Thankfully. Seattle should beat the Bears and SD will do just enough to get past Baltimore...I wanna know how the Ravens are going to move the ball.Great Polls Jeff...much needed on a ho hum Monday.MoP,I think you'll be getting what you asked for this week.Seattle vs. Chicago.San Diego vs. Baltimore.Game on.![]()
I voted Seattle but here is the problem...the winning percentage of teams for most of these 3-0 teams is sub .500 for sure.Baltimore: 0-9Seattle: 2-7Atlanta: 1-5 so farChicago: 3-6...did beat MNIndy: 3-6San Diego: 0-4NO: 1-5This adds up to 10-42 so far combined...need to see these teams play each other I guess. Mostly beating up bad teams.
Agree with Chicago because of their D but, even with a struggling running game their Offense is putting up points in the passing game which is scary.Chi and Sea aren't exactly in gear on the ground, and I went with Chi due to a better D.Indy is a cut below right now due to the ground game as well. All 3 are worthy of votes, but I went with the Bears.
Yes, that thought was in my head as well (just neglected to actually type it).Agree with Chicago because of their D but, even with a struggling running game their Offense is putting up points in the passing game which is scary.Chi and Sea aren't exactly in gear on the ground, and I went with Chi due to a better D.Indy is a cut below right now due to the ground game as well. All 3 are worthy of votes, but I went with the Bears.
Wow, Baltimore?24th best offense coming into Week 3, and they barely escape Cleveland with a win. They're having trouble scoring 15 points. Jamal Lewis has the same number of TDs as Cedric Cobbs.I went with Baltimore. True, they haven't played anyone yet, but they've been good on both sides of the ball. Cincy is my #2 and Chicago right behind that. Seattle is too shaky on the road for me (9-6 over Detroit?) and aren't what they used to be on offense. I think that Indy will get solved sooner than later, they got outplayed through most of the game, but Jacksonville just blew it on special teams. A good defense paired with a decent offense (ala Baltimore or Chicago) would beat Indy.
Indy's problem is not their ground game, but the run defense. They could be the worst team in the league against the run. Indy will put up more points than anyone even with their ground game. But their defense has to get their offense the ball. Indy is not the best team in the league right now. I kind of like the Bears, Ravens, and Chargers as the best teams.Chi and Sea aren't exactly in gear on the ground, and I went with Chi due to a better D.Indy is a cut below right now due to the ground game as well. All 3 are worthy of votes, but I went with the Bears.
I think the Bears win at home without SA playing. If the Chargers put up at least 20 points they should win and their offense will be a test of the Ravens D that has beat up on some weaker offenses. It will certainly be the toughest game for both teams this season.MoP,I think you'll be getting what you asked for this week.Seattle vs. Chicago.San Diego vs. Baltimore.Game on.![]()
easy Jeff Eaglez!the offense sputters....very true5 second half drives---all were 35+ yds, so when the heat was on, they moved the ball1st was a punt, the second was the inexplicable 4th&1 run, passing on the FGdrives 3, 4 & 5 all resulted in scores....while the Clev-D is not the reincarnation of the 70's Steelers, McNair clicked w/the receivers in crunch time, and gets better w/that unit every weekfor those taking SD in this one, I'd worry more about a west coast club heading east, and the following:Raven-D allowing 1.78 YPC rushingallowing 5.2 YPA passing1 TD allowed16 sacks....7 picklesand Phillip Rivers facing this...in BaltFrye had a great half, and got up 14-3, w/a nice 58 yd'er to Braylon Edwards, who for some reason had Samarri Rolle on him that playMcAllister played him pretty tough the rest of the way....the same McAllister that shut out a Joey Galloway (0 catches) that had 165 yds week 2, and held Moss to 2-32I like the Ravens in a tough fought game...17-13....and took Cincy in the poll, BTW!Wow, Baltimore?24th best offense coming into Week 3, and they barely escape Cleveland with a win. SD played poor teams, but dominated on both sides of the ball. Baltimore struggled and almost lost to he Browns this week. Chicago looks good with an offense, but I'll take Rivers, LT and Gates over Grossman, Jones and Muhsin anyday. And SD's defense was #1 against the rush last year and Merriman looks to be taking over.Does Seattle have a killer instinct? I know the Giants like to play from behind and all, but come on. Their defense is good, but a lot of that was the Giants self-destructing in the first half. Plax was "hurt" and eventually benched and Shockey was hobbled with a bum ankle. Tyree and Carter scorched them.... And of course now losing the MVP doesn't help. SD has the most talent, I think, and it looks like they're finally playing that way. Hopefully they'll actually make the playoffs this time around.Thankfully. I think the Ravens Offense will struggle against San Diego's D. It's hard to run on San Diego, and McNair has looked shakey lately. I think Rivers will manage the game just fine against the Ravens, and San Diego will end up with the win.ravnzfan said:for those taking SD in this one, I'd worry more about a west coast club heading east, and the following:Raven-D allowing 1.78 YPC rushingallowing 5.2 YPA passing1 TD allowed16 sacks....7 picklesand Phillip Rivers facing this...in Balt
Even without Alexander? You're probably right, it seems most of these teams have at least one significant weakness, you just have to pick which one matters least. Seems to me this is between Cincy and Seattle, but without Alexander, I'm going with Cincy. FWIW, I still think Chicago remains undefeated the longest, but that's more to do with the schedule, despite MN playing very tough.SEA, no real weaknesses that I can see.
