I realize that Ronde's career is not over yet but which brother has had the better NFL career?

Ronde is a good CB who plays well within his system, but Tiki was pretty dominant for quite a few years. He was crapped on for years until everyone finally realized that he was actually one of the best runners in the NFL.

I think a lot of people forget that Tiki Barber had a major fumbling problem for more than half of his NFL career. He didn't solve it until his last few years. His brother gets my vote.

Ronde, and it's not close IMO. There is a pretty good chance Ronde will make the HOF, but I don't think Tiki will.

i only remember two years where he really had any issues. he lost 12 fumbles in two years. 9 the rest of his career. he has 21 fumbles lost for his career. some peers of his...Alexander-17, portis-17, Dillon-18, Lewis-25 (9000-12000 yard range)

From '00-'03, he fumbled 35 times. 35 times in 62 games. That is pretty bad. And fumbles is the more important number, rather than fumbles lost, as whether or not you recover a fumble is luck and because of the bounce of the ball, most of the time.To compare to the guys you brought up:Barber: 53 fumbles in 10 seasonsAlexander: 31 fumbles in 9 seasonsPortis: 24 fumbles in 7 seasonsDillon: 28 fumbles in 10 seasonsLewis: 38 fumbles in 9 seasons

Ronde was just as dominant if not more dominant during the prime of their careers while also have the more productive overall career.

Ronde had a longer more consistent career. Tiki had the more dominant few seasons.
Not really. Tiki was 1st team All Pro 1 time. Ronde was 1st team All Pro 3 times and counting.
 Besides, dominance by the skill position players is usually easy to measure by the numbers. Meanwhile, the best cornerbacks are often not even thrown at that often, so you cannot judge them by the numbers.

if tiki played two more years he was a lock for the HOF.
But he didn't.
your claim that its not even close is pretty ridiculous.
It's not close. 3 1st team All Pros and counting at a harder position >>> 1 1st team All Pro at an easier position.

I disagree. Tiki was a good running back who had the luxury of playing in NY. If Tiki had played anywhere but NY, I highly doubt he would get much HOF talk at all.Put me down asn Ronde and it's not even close.

The Giants got better when Tiki left ,the Bucs would suffer if Ronde left.

i didnt say Tiki will get in teh HOF. What i said is if he played two more years he would have been a lock. You are crazy if you think a guy with over 12000 yards rushing and 6000 yards receiving wouldnt have made it. Thats assuming he would have had only 800 yards rushing in each year and 400 receiving. Very conservative. I would definitely say Rhonde has had the better career, but not by much, and certainly not by much at all if tiki was still playing.

easier position? What does that even mean?Easier to become All Pro? Easier to get into the NFL? WTF are you talking about?

That is all nice and pretty, but players are judged on what they did do, not what they could have done. What Tiki might have done, had he kept playing, is completely meaningless.

RB is an easier position to play than CB.

I'd go with Ronde too, but I wouldn't say "not even close". It's close enough that we can have a reasonable debate on the topic. Then again, I still voted Ronde.

:XExactly.
OTOH, if the position is so much easier, shouldn't there be more competition to remain a starter?Ronde had by far the better career, not to say Tiki isn;t as talented or couldn't have had more success, but he didn't. To illustrate the point, will anyone say Priest Holmes or Terrell Davis had a better career than Emmitt Smith? Is Bo Jackson a Hall of Fame RB? (I don't expect a direct answer, and I don't mean to get on a tangent, but I think the analogies are pertinent)
