Reading the top 20 QB's thread got me thinking, seems like Hasselbeck doesn't get much love here. Was wondering who most people think is the better QB, Hasselbeck or Big Ben. Also since the postseason performance seems to have such a big impact on the perception of how good a player is (look at Brady's sucess and the criticism of Manning) I was wondering if a superbowl ring for Hasselbeck or a superbowl ring for Big Ben would change your opinion.

Sorry I should have made it more clear that I'm not asking long term. With Hasselbeck being over 30 it's pretty evident that Big Ben is the better option long term. Was asking more about right now. Who would you rather have for this weeks superbowl game and on your team for next year. Was also wondering if you think Hasselbeck is the better QB would your opinion change if Big Ben won the superbowl and vice versa.

I love Big Ben but I'd take Hasselbeck right now. The only way that changes is if Matt really screws up in the big game.

As much as I like Ben, Hasselbeck is the better QB today. Next year? If Ben keeps developing like he has, he's the better QB.Your point, I totally agree with - Hasselbeck is the most underrated QB in the NFL, maybe the most underrated player.Oh, if either totally take over the game, that QB becomes the best QB - EVER! ;)
