Who is the MVP of your favorite team? (1 Viewer)

Matt Forte has to be the MVP for the Bears this season. Not only has he done a great job as a runner getting more yards than the blocking provided for him. He also has made huge plays in the passing game as a receiver and has been a solid blocker who stays on the field every down. Kyle Orton and Lance Briggs also deserve consideration.

For the Vikings it's obviously ADP. He's pretty much their entire offensive game plan. Honorable mentions would be Jared Allen and Chad Greenway(came up huge after EJ went down).

For the Steelers, Troy Polamalu or James Harrison. Both defensive studs.

On offense I dunno. If I had to choose it would be Mewelde Moore thus far. He saved their butts a few games. Small nod to Hines.

Harrison.Troy a close second.

I would easily agree after thinking a bit more about the two. :thumbup:Who would you say on offense?

The Jets...Kris Jenkins. Has completely changed that defense.
Yep. he has changed them from being easy to run on to being easy to pass on.
I would argue that the Jets Pass D numbers a little skewed by the games that they were up big and teams just kept passing and passing to get back in it (Arizona, and the second New England game). Besides those games there have only been 2 games where the Jets looked horrible against the pass (vs. Phillip Rivers and Jay Cutler). I am not saying they are a good pass defense, I would just argue that they are not a terrible pass defense.

Jay Cutler - when he has played well the Broncos have won
Definitely Jay... But Honorable Mention to Ryan Clady. He's been outstanding and deserves ROY consideration, although in a year with so many great skill position rookies, I doubt he'll get much hype.

Titans:

1. Haynesworth - do I need to explain?

2. Chris Johnson - electric

3. Michael Roos - anchors the OL which is the key to their success

4. Keith Bulluck - not the FF stud he once was, but still a key to the D

5. Kerry Collins - I like VY, I really do, but I don't think they're 11-1 with him at the helm

I really do think our offensive MVP has to be Mewelde Moore. No one else has really stood out, and like you said he did save our butts quite a few times.

Thomas Jones and Kris Jenkins have both been absolute studs this year and very important to the Jets.....However.....

My MVP for them is EASILY Brett Favre. He's been worth at least 2 more wins in my opinion simply due to the respect teams have for the passing game. He has raised them from just missing the playoffs with Pennington to on the brink of a first round bye. Valuable? You betcha.

Peyton Manning has been more of a MVP this year than any year in the past. If you throw in the surgeries, injuries to the defense and OL, he's the sole reason why the Colts are where they are now. He's carried this team this year, and if the Colts get healthy and are clicking on all cylinders by season's end, he might just do something real special. He will go down as the greatest ever when he's done.

The current NFL leader in passer rating Tony Romo - Dallas Cowboys

Without him they are a 4-12 team. If he is able to lead his team to the playoffs I think he could actually win the NFL MVP but thats a tall order.
