Feel dumb not knowing this - but who is the player that cut off his finger (or something like that) during halftime of a game and then came back and finished the rest of the game?

Was it Woodson or Lott or someone else?

IIRC--late 80s. Lott had the choice of missing an important late season game or having surgery on his finger. He decided to have it cut off instead of missing the game.
