Who is the one sharpest (hardest to beat?) IDP FF owner you know? (1 Viewer)

Beaumont

Footballguy
Thought this would be interesting. This is a place where most of the IDP owners congregate and stop to post or at least read.

I thought it would be nice to give credit where credit is due.

Since I am limiting myself to one, I will choose a guy who goes by "Los Gigantes". He is pretty dang hard to beat.

There are 4 others I am in leagues with that really stand out (from the 80 or so others I am in IDP leagues with) but I will pick him since I am limiting myself to one ...

Anyone else want to give credit where due since we are at the end of another year?

I have to give credit to BLONDE BOMBSHELL in league 33. He seems to find these players before anyone else does - Gerald Hayes, Bart Scott, Terrence McGee, Pacman Jones, Mark Anderson, Clint Ingram, OJ Atogwe, Angelo Crowell and the list goes on and on.

Are league scores CB's who return kickoffs & punt returns and he was the one who exposed them (listed above) against all of us with great success. It seems like he never has draft picks, but he is like a scavenger on the waiver wire, which makes up for his lack of draft picks.

He is truly a man not to be reckon with and will always be ahead of the curve before anyone else knows what just happened. If I knew half of what he knows about IDP's, my team would be a pretty good team. Until then, I could only sit back and admire his special "talent".

BTW - He won the league by a wide margin!

hmm well I don't play against him but I will give props to cobalt cruisin. He is on top of everything both sides of the ball. I share notes with him from time to time.

Cracker of course too but I don't play against him right now. When I did we were using silly team defense.

Pretty sure the majority of the best of the best frequent this forum. None of them are direct competitors of mine that I know of right now though so I must be it.

Los G pillaged some dudes in trades this year in our league. That said, his initial draft was amazing. Sharp guy for sure, but I've only played with him for one year.Taz is pretty good...I'd say him.

That's Los G for sure. They don't call him El Diablo for nothing ...Los G does not have the prospect knowledge that someone like Bloom has (although he has a lot) ... but he has a tricky way of talking people into trades that just put him over the top ... he is a very sharp negotiator ...

i gotta give props to sarge, the guy knows his stuff and can also talk the talk when it comes to deal making. i started idp in the dynasty wars league a few yrs back and have learned a ton since then, much of it coming from coming sarge's vast, if not sometimes nasty, brain.

dont sell yourself short either keg, you know your stuff.

thanks, and just like they always forget someone when they accept their oscar you too are as sharp as they come in IDP

Sarge has abused a few in trades.

Tick covers quite a few topics and puts in a lot of time here and at Zealots.

That gets a :hey: from me.

I'm a noob in IDPs, I start a full defense of 11 players, my IDPs are mediocre at best and I'm European. Thats not exactly having alot going for you  , and yet I somehow managed to win my league which has nothing but seasoned vet FF players

Yep its gotta be me *lol*

Not sure what he goes by at FBG's, and he is mostly a lurker if I'm not mistaken, but I play in a few leagues with Big Redd Machine/Dead Eye Bone Musician. As far as I'm concerned he is at the top of the IDP game. He is always in the hunt for the Championship in any league he is in and a very sly trader too. And all this while commishing at least 4-5 leagues.

I go bramel. While I routinely thump the boy in the regular season, he seems to own me in the post season when it counts.

What dynasty leagues do you guys play in, and are there any openings? I'm thinking about entering another league (it would be my third, one redraft (offense only) and one IDP Dynasty league with 40-man rosters (Ironman, if that means anything to you).

Check my thread in the Dating Game if you are interested in a 32 Team IDP dynasty. Its right up your alley redman and there are a lot of great owners in it ...

Hi Redman, Zealots Field is always looking for new owners. It would end up being an orphaned team so you might have to work a bit. Here's a link to a current opening. http://forums.footballguys.com/forum/index...howtopic=302355 There may be other openings. In 2008 a new Zealots syndicate will open. We will need to fill another 144 teams. Some will be taken by existing members but there should be ample teams for new owners.

I'm in both Beau's league and a few Z leagues. You really can't go wrong either way.

That one guy on staff that went to all those Phish concerts, he's pretty good, but I forget his name.
