As many of you all know, this is probably going to be one of the closest finishes in the AFC in a long time. Which team do you see going deep into the playoffs with the #6 seed? In my opinion, I see the Broncos going far if they get in. Jay, finally learning to throw the ball with consistancy, leads them into New England for the win! What do you guys think?

I don't see anyone getting the #3 seed and winning a game (Even my hometown team, that being KC). They will go to probably either BAL or IND and I don't see either of those two teams losing @ home.

I hate to anger NE fans, but if CIN gets the #5, I could see them going into NE and winning in the WC round.

For the moment, the Patriots are the #4 seed. The #6 seed would draw the Colts. Actually, in 2 of the last 3 years, the Broncos have drawn the #6 seed and gone on the road to play the Colts in the first round. They got blown out 49-24 in 2005 and 41-10 in 2004. Was that part of the reason they traded Portis for Champ Bailey? I think Bailey played in the second game.I think the Colts could be ripe for an upset in the first round. But I don't know if the Broncos would be the ones to pull it off.

This is mostly without basis, but I think there's a good chance the Ravens lose in round 1. Like I said, before the Ravens homers jump in on me, I admit that I have no objective basis to point to, but I really don't think Baltimore's that good. :bag:

Obviously the Colts are ripe for getting picked off if a team with a strong running game can get in. Although Manning in that dome is pretty tough. The Colts have won 20 of their last 21 games at home.

I do not think any wild card team will be in the superbowl this year.
I agree with this. The most important feature to going on a run like the Steelers did last year is being able to stop the run. I really don't see that with the current crop of potential wild card teams with the possible exception of the Jaguars. :bag:

The Steelers last year were 11-5 coming off a 15-1 season the year before -- they were a solid team. I don't think any of the teams with a decent chance of getting a wildcard this season (Broncos, Bengals, Jaguars and Jets) are even close to as good as the Steelers were last season.

Still, I think all but the Jets could go into Baltimore (currently #3) and beat them. The Bengals probably have the best shot at beating the Patriots (#4) but I doubt they could pull it off.

The Colts are the #2 seed and the Ravens the #3 seed right now - AND if both win out.
