Snelling: I think Turner's injuries will continue to linger unfortunately. Snelling was a beast last year for the games he started.

Tolbert might get around 5 carries a game and not a lot more while Mathews is healthy with a minimal amount of receptions. I don't think he's the goal line back but part of a goal line by committe. Games he fails to score a TD he'll be fairly useless. More of a handcuff to me and if I ever had to start him I'd hope it was against a weak team were you think the Chargers might go to the bench early.

Snelling is the guy here to win this debate. Maybe it was close last week but with Norwood going down it's not close any longer. Snelling is the handcuff and unlike Tolbert if Turner went down Snelling would be a 3 down back. While Turner is healthy Snelling is the third down back and has little comp for being the guy to give Turner breathers so he's going to get some decent work every week.

To me this is easy. Snelling has more upside potential in the event of an injury to the starter and also could provide week to week scoring that is far more reliable and more productive than what Tolbert will provide.
