I included every coach of a team currently over .500.
For me, it's a close call between Reid, Arians and Bowles.
Belichick could really win it every year, but I think their average record since really getting hit with injuries takes a little of the shine off of his resume for winning this year (but not his greatness as a head coach).
Can't forget Rivera, of the 14-1 Panthers, but Carolina seems more like an 11-5 squad that has squeezed out a bunch of narrow wins, some of which would normally not go their way.
Back to the first three, we cannot forget the 1-5 start by the Chiefs, but getting them to win 9 straight after that start and without their best player (Charles) is pretty darn special.
Arians is coaching at the highest level right now. The Cardinals are great everywhere.
Bowles took a team thought to have an offense that would be lucky to be average and turned them into a really good, while staying great on D. Great job.
Hard to pick just one, but I guess I will go with Arians.
Marvin Lewis has done a great job this year, as well.
McCarthy and Quinn should be chucked from this last, but their teams do have winning records, so there they are.
Kubiak has been really good, getting the team to 11-4 with all of that offensive turmoil, but he's not coach of the year material.
Carroll has done a nice job lately getting the team back on the right track, but they have still underachieved this year based off of expectations.
Bill O'Brien gets no comment from me. Same for Jay Gruden. Congrats on winning ####ty divisions.
Mike Zimmer has done a really good job, and last but not least, Mike Tomlin did his usual up and down act: kept the team winning and afloat without Ben for a while, but he has some inexplicable losses in games where it looked like he didn't have the team ready to play.
