Who starting for Bal this week at RB (1 Viewer)

:goodposting:

mornin' Leo---I haven't heard one way or the other

both were dinged up alittle--turns out McGahee wasn't nearly 100% last week, even tho we heard he was starting

Rice was bruised in the chest and Willis had a knee/ankle that was better this week....Coach H said "this looks like a good week for Willis"

take that for what it's worth

Mort says Rice "will get the bulk of the carries today".

Take that for what it's worth as well.

McGahee, Rice and McClain to split Updated 11/9/08

McGahee, Willis RB BAL

News: According to Ian Eagle on Fantasy Football Today, Ravens RB McGahee is active for Week 10 at Houston after taking limited practice reps this week because of an ankle injury. He, Ray Rice and LeRon McClain will split carries. Analysis: McGahee figures to get most of the work, but keep in mind he was active last week and didn't get a single carry. Meanwhile, Rice rushed for 154 yards on 21 carries, so he could end up bumping into McGahee's workload more than usual. Also, McClain will likely get carries at the goal line. Obviously, the Ravens' backfield situation is a mess at the moment, and you might be better off avoiding all three of these guys even with the nice matchup. If you have to go with one, though, go with McGahee.

Anita Marks from Baltimore's 105.7 The Fan FM says that she's heard that RICE will start. On the same show, Mark Viviano says that he hasn't heard that but feels that all three backs: McClain, McGahee and Rice will carry an equal load today. Honestly, no one will know which back will post the best numbers until late in the 3rd/early in the 4th quarter unfortunately.

Ray Rice should get the bulk of the work.

McGahee is still banged up.

McClain will remain the goaline and short yardage back for the most part the rest of the year no matter what the health of MaGahee.

Bulk of Rice's yards were out of shotgun last week. I don't have any inside information, but my bet is that you'll see McGahee get most of the work if healthy and if they get the lead and can run out of the standard set. If they fall behind and need to throw, then Rice plays out of the shotgun. Either way, McClain is the worst of the three.

i will give myself and menobrown a pat on the back for being in the minority predicting this for weeks. significant that willis' td was from the 1 since that was supposedly mcclain's role.
